Katie Price's ex Kieran Hayler 'fuming' as his kids star on Channel 4's Mucky Mansion

Katie Price’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler is reportedly livid with Channel 4 bosses – after they showed clips of his kids on Mucky Mansion without his permission.

Fuming Kieran claimed producers had broken their own rules for featuring under-16s on TV when his kids – eight-year-old Jett and seven-year-old Bunny – were shown on Wednesday’s episode (January 19).

A spokesperson for Kieran said show bosses failed to get his permission before airing the episode in front of the nation.

The spokesman said: “Mr Hayler did not receive any communication from Channel 4 seeking his consent to sign off the children’s appearance before the airing of this week’s programme.

“One would expect protocol to be adhered to especially in light of children being filmed without consent of both parties involved, as per Channel 4’s own guidelines.”

According to Channel 4’s rules around showing kids on TV, “ideally both parents’ consents should be sought” before filming youngsters.

However, Channel 4 insisted they obtained enough permission before shooting the episode.

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 said: “The production company sought and obtained the appropriate permissions for all minors appearing in the series.”

The debut episode saw proud mum Katie renovating her West Sussex home – which has been dubbed Katie’s ‘Mucky Mansion’.

The ex-glamour model was joined by Bunny and Jett who were working on some arts and crafts.

The family trio were designing a mirror when Bunny said: “Mum, did you know, it’s not about spending money… it’s about what you can make.”

Katie’s fourteen-year-old daughter Princess, who she shares with her ex-hubby Peter Andre, also appears in the series.

According to the Mirror, Kieran’s agent did not respond to queries of whether he had been consulted.

A source alleged: “Kieran was very unhappy the children are featured and paraded around on screen without his consent. It’s unacceptable.”

Katie’s Mucky Mansion doc is a three-part series that follows Katie as she re-decorates her home which fell into disrepair due to vandals.

Katie opens up about her mental health battles in the series – admitting her house gave her “anxiety”.

She said: “This house damaged my head, damaged me. I’ve had a journey from hell.

“I could not even walk through the front door, it would give me anxiety like you wouldn’t believe.”

She explained that she used to love living at the house with her children, but has since found it tough after suffering tragic animal deaths and her divorce to Kieran.

She added: “While all that was going on my marriage fell, for all reasons. The friends betrayed me

“We’ve had two dogs that have died here, a horse that has died here.

“I’ve even had kidnap threats here. Just a lot of horrible, horrible stuff here.

“I can’t tell you how much I hated this house. I just could not live here.

“Even driving up the driveway, I’d be like, ‘Oh, my god, oh, my god’, because I would just look at the mess.”

Daily Star have contacted Kieran’s representatives, and Channel 4, for comment.
