Molly-Mae claims she's stopped spending cash on designer clothes while wearing £285 top

Molly-Mae Hague has been seen wearing a £285 Alexander Wang top despite telling fans that she will no longer splash out on designer goods following a robbery that took place at her home in Manchester.

Last year, the 22-year-old influencer and her partner Tommy Fury, 22, were left devastated when thieves broke into their home and stole designer gear, laptops and shoes worth £800k.

The couple has since moved out of their apartment to a mystery location and Molly has told fans she has become restrictive on what she films in her new pad.

In her most recent YouTube video, the former Love Islander opened up to fans about the burglary and how it has changed her spending habits going forward, but many will notice her designer items in shot.

Molly said: “It’s something I’ve been thinking a lot of recently and the answer to that question is a 100% yes.

“My views couldn’t have changed anymore if they tried. Obviously having nice things can literally mean anything but in regards to the jewellery I used to buy, watches, nice bags, really expensive clothes and stuff.

“I think most definitely, definitely the interest for me has disappeared since the robbery,” she explained.

“Why would I ever want to own something that would compromise mine and Tommy’s safety. It’s absolutely not worth it in my eyes and my opinion has definitely changed.

Before holding up her watch worth £179, the influencer added: “In my eyes the only watch I need at the moment is, I’m not even joking, is my Apple watch.”

Although she discussed her sentiments about not spending on “really expensive clothes” in the video, Molly wore a long-sleeved turtleneck bodysuit from American designer Alexander Wang, which retails online from £285.

Since her appearance on ITV’s Love Island in 2019, Molly has raked in the cash with fashion deals, her tanning range and YouTube videos.
