Piers Morgan teases fans with first-look at major TV return after abrupt GMB exit

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to tease his hugely-anticipated TV return.

The outspoken journalist, 56, shared a snap of from the set of his brand new studio at TalkTV with his Instagram followers.

He penned alongside the behind-the-scenes snap: “BREAKING: First (very early) glimpse of my spanking new work home.

“If you judge a man by the size of his studio then I’ll be MASSIVE when my new global daily prime-time TV show launches in a few weeks. ps relax, those aren’t actually dance-floor lights.”

Piers won’t be away from our screens for much longer as he’s et to launch a daily news programme later this year.

Promoting his brand new series, the father-of-four quipped: ‘I’ll be a tri-continent irritant which is something I’ve been aspiring to be for quite some time… If you’ve missed me on morning TV, I’m sorry, I’ll be back very soon.

“If you haven’t missed me, I’m not sorry.”

Piers previously said of his new job: “I’m thrilled to be returning to News Corp. which is where I began my media career more than 30 years ago.

“Rupert Murdoch has been a constant and fearless champion of free speech and we are going to be building something new and very exciting together.

“‘I want my global show to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews, and a place that celebrates the right of everyone to have an opinion, and for those opinions to be vigorously examined and challenged.”

In March last year, Piers stormed off Good Morning Britain live on air after being condemned by his co-presenter Alex Beresford.

The weather presenter had criticised Piers n over his remarks about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which were made following the couple’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Piers had repeatedly claimed that he “didn’t believe a word” Meghan said about having suicidal thoughts during her time as a senior royal.

The clip of Piers’ walk-out circulated widely on social media, with many viewers criticising the presenter for not staying and engaging in the discussion.

He later quit the ITV breakfast programme.
