Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win fans were left fuming as they watched two brothers repeat their signature handshake throughout the show as they battle to take home the eye-watering cash prize.
On Saturday (5 February) night, viewers saw the return of the Geordie double act Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly for the last episode of the gameshow.
For the TV finale, the comedy duo welcomed back last week’s winners Lee and Kai who had already banked £10,000 from their previous game.
But fans couldn’t help but point out an annoying habit the brothers shared as they built up the jackpot prize.
As they progressed throughout the show, the pair struggled to beat the difficult questions as they failed to add any money to their jackpot.
Unfortunately the odds weren’t in their favour after the dynamic duo left empty handed after the failed to correctly answer how long Dippy the dinosaur is in length.
They hedged their bets and opted for a brave answer of 30 metres but the popular National History Museum archive is actually only 26 meters long.
After they received the devastating news, they gave each other one last high five before they left the show, much to the disappointment of the viewers at home.
And it didn’t take long before fans of the show took to Twitter to share their annoyance at the unusual habit online.
One user penned: “I’m glad they are out. Just so I can stop seeing that handshake #LimitlessWin.”
Another added: “This handshake is making me want these lads to lose everything @antanddec #LimitlessWin.”
A third chimed in with: “Nothing better than an annoying handshake and fist bump after each question. #LimitlessWin.”
Meanwhile, another fan of the show wrote: “Ok the rhyming is getting on my t**s a bit, and the secret handshake. Feel like I’m watching Dr. Seuss #LimitlessWin.”
