This Morning fans cringe as Alison Hammond asks 51-year age gap couple about sex

Fans of This Morning were left gobsmacked after Alison Hammond asked a couple with a 51-year age gap about their sex life.

Terzel Rasmus-Williams, 30, and Wilson Williams, 81, from South Africa, appeared on the ITV show to discuss the dynamics of their relationship and how they are perceived by others.

Wilson, who was clearly much older than his wife, told viewers he was interested in her the first time they met but also told a little white lie about his age and said he was 63 when he met Terzel.

But things became rather uncomfortable when Alison probed the pair on their bedroom antics, which some viewers felt was a bit too much.

Confident Alison asked: “And Terzel is everything good in the bedroom?”

After a long pause, Wilson replied: “Everything is good really. Many friends ask that question but I always say I’m not going to talk about it but what I can say is we have no problems.”

Shouting in excitement, Alison exclaimed: “Yes Wilson, that’s brilliant. It’s been an absolute pleasure meeting you guys.

“Love is love at the end of the day, that’s what I say.”

Alison asked the couple about their sex life

Alison’s co-host Dermot O’Leary was clearly embarrassed by her question and joked: “You had to go there, didn’t you?”

Alison replied: “But everyone wants to know. You know what I had an older man and they are great in the bedroom, they know what to do!”

Rushing to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on the awkward scenes.

One viewer penned: “The bedroom question was one question too far.”

Another said: “This is a painful interview to watch. Like root canal painful.”

A third chimed: “Oh no this is too much for 10:44am @AlisonHammond @radioleary.”

Meanwhile a fourth added: “Didn’t want to know that last bit of the interview, I’m eating my breakfast.”

Despite their age gap, the couple told viewers that they are well suited and their family are happy with their union.

However, some spectators were not convinced that the couple were genuine and shared their concerns online.

One viewer penned: “In all seriousness I feel like she has control of all his money. He’s definitely not all there. Almost like she’s winding him up from behind.”

And another said: “The thing she loves about him is his money.”
