The daughter of Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley is expecting her first child with her Rugby husband James Haskell, 34.
James made the happy announcement earlier today when he appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and shared the couple’s sweet secret.
He told the GMB host, his father-in-law Richard Madley, on Tuesday morning that he was going to be a grandfather again, as Ranvir Singh congratulated her co-host and show guest.
Richard teased James had something personal to share before the sportsman revealed the exciting news.
He announced: “Well Richard, Chloe and I are expecting our first child.
“We are going to be having a little girl, and you are going to be a grandfather once again.”
Richard was ecstatic with the announcement as he shared a picture of the baby’s scan
He explained excitedly: “We can actually see the child. Chloe sent us this, there we are her three-month scan.
“That’s the little girl, looks like she’s reading the paper, doesn’t it?”
He hilariously added: “Let’s hope she has her mother’s looks! Because if she looks anything like me, we’re in a spot of bother.”
James praised his father-in-law Richard whose son Jack, 35, has a little boy, Kit, two.
He said: “I’ve seen Richard with his other grandson Kit, and he’s the best grandfather in the world so I’m very, very happy.”
Richard gushed in his own inimitable style: “Well I’ve got the best grandchildren in the world.”
