Former The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack made fans ecstatic on Instagram as she shared a nostalgic throwback snap during her time on hit Channel 4 show.
The 32-year-old had a recurring role on the hit British coming-of-age comedy as Charlotte Hinchcliffe between 2008 and 2010 when she was 19.
The star posted the unrecognisable throwback snap on Valentines Day where her character Charlotte is standing next to her co-star, Simon Bird’s character Will McKenzie, who was her love interest in the show.
Much to the delight of her 1.8 million followers, Emily’s post was hilariously captioned: “It’s not a date. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone”, followed by the heart eyes emoji.
In true noughties style, the photo shows Will wearing a denim button-up vest on top of a neon yellow v-neck t-shirt.
While Charlotte is dressed in a sparkly silver top along with a black and silver military-inspired jacket and black trousers.
After posting the throwback snap, the actress instantly received an influx of messages from her fans who were gushing over the nostalgic snap.
Love Island’s Olivia Atwood commented: “Iconic.”
A gushing follower commented: “Legends.”
A third donned: “In my head, Will and Charlotte are happily married, would 100% watch that series!”
The hit show ran from 2008 and 2010 and was nominated for several awards, including an Audience Award at the British Academy Television Awards 2010 which it won.
Emily recently took to Instagram to announce that she was left gutted as she couldn’t wear her original outfit to this year’s BRIT Awards.
Initially planning to wear a lux Stella McCartney floral gown, she told her followers that it wasn’t meant to be.
She said: “I had a fitting for the Brits and sadly can’t wear this because of my chunky bum but wanted to show it off.”
However, she instead went for a stunning sparkling midnight sky effect full-length gown on the night.
