It has been 25 years since Hollywood star Gwen Stefani rocked the top of the charts with Don’t Speak.
The No Doubt singer hit number one on this day in 1997 with the track, after rising to fame with the band following songs including Just A Girl.
Gwen Stefani showed off a number of stunning looks in the video for the song, including a sweet ditsy print dress and a crop top and trousers onstage, which showed off the singer’s toned abs.
To pay tribute to the 25th anniversary of the hit song, Daily Star has taken a look at some of Gwen Stefani’s hottest looks.
Met Gala glam
Gwen Stefani channelled inspiration from Las Vegas showgirls for her glam Met Gala 2019 look.
The singer walked the red carpet wearing a white bodysuit, encrusted with multi-coloured jewels that were draped over her sizzling curves.
The high fashion look from designer Moschino was completed with black fish net tights and a white faux fur coat, completing the stunning outfit.
Designer Jeremy Scott told Vogue: “The look I designed for Gwen is a mix of all the kinds of camp iconography that she and I love.
“There is some showgirl Vegas feathery fluff, some sparkly razzle dazzle rhinestones, and some old-school French boudoir bombshell action going on.”
She certainly looked like a bombshell too, with glamour added by a blonde up-do hairstyle and a pop of red lipstick.
Tiny hotpants
Gwen Stefani is known for her super cool looks onstage, and her appearance on MTV Total Request Live 2006 was no different.
The singer posed backstage in a preppy inspired green tank top and shirt, paired with tiny leopard print shorts that added an extra sexy touch to the look.
Teamed with black brogues and sheer tights, Gwen captivated audiences with her performance and look on the night.
‘Naked’ dress
Gwen showed off another jaw dropping look at the Billboard Music Awards in 2016, when she arrived at the event wearing a ‘naked’ dress.
The singer oozed sex appeal as she walked the red carpet in the long, nude coloured sheer gown, with silver jewels dripping over the singer from head to toe.
The jewels highlighted her gorgeous curves, with Gwen completing the look with matching silver bangles and barely there make-up.
Optical illusion
Gwen Stefani channelled classic Hollywood glamour on a night out to the Vanity Fair Academy Awards party in 2016, when she wore a beautiful Yanina Couture gown.
The red sheer gown draped over the singer’s body, showing off the sides of her body and toned legs, with only a floral design to hide her modesty.
The petals on the dress almost seemed to be falling, with an eye catching optical illusion of leaves decorating the bottom of the look – making this one of Gwen’s most striking and dazzling looks evers.
Fluffy bikini
Gwen’s experimental look made her the talk of the tabloids and essences of her quirky younger self can still be seen in recent snaps of the star.
One of the most iconic looks from her heyday was her 1998 MTV VMA’s look.
The legendary blue fluffy bikini moment was paired with a sci-fi style circle skirt and blue space buns in her hair.
Gwen previously spoke about her grungy, DIY style to Vogue: “On tour, I didn’t have a stylist. I had one girl who would knock-off looks for me.”
She said that her friend would make her cargo pants and other stage outfits by pulling fabrics from downtown stores, which she would then craft into an outfit and post to the singer.
Pretty In Pink
Gwen Stefani once sang “I’m just a girl”, but she looked every inch Pretty In Pink as she stepped out for a Barbie Reshape The Conversation event in Los Angeles.
Channelling classic Barbie, the star wore a tailored bright pink dress that complimented her gorgeous blonde locks and dazzling smile, which was framed with matching pink lipstick.
Teamed with chic black high heels, Gwen looked picture perfect as she rocked her own Barbie inspired look.
American Music Awards glamour
From Pretty in Pink to vamp, Gwen Stefani showed off a sexy sheer look at the 2015 American Music Awards.
The singer looked simply gorgeous as she strutted on the red carpet wearing a long black sheer gown, which covered a black bodysuit and again, showed off her signature toned pins.
Gwen added an extra edge to the look, with layers of material on each shoulder adding an extra touch of couture glamour to the already flawless outfit.
The Voice US judge panel look
Gwen added a punk rock edge to one of her looks on the 2019 series of The Voice US, where the singer took part as a judge.
The sexy pink mini dress was decorated with silver belt buckles, and complimented with a pink bow around the singer’s neck and knee high boots.
The busty look featured a sweetheart neckline, with Gwen stealing the show as she accessorised with bright pink earrings and a sleek blonde ponytail.
