Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter Emily updated fans with a candid health update in her recovery journey after extensive surgery on her jaw last year.
The 27-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday (16 February) after she had six screws and two metal plates removed from her face which were holding her broken jaw together.
She revealed at the time how surgeons were forced to break her jawbone as it was her “only option” after it started to impact her breathing and block her airway.
After the surgery, Emily had nine months of dentistry ahead of her as she recovered from the facial surgery with the help of her close family and friends.

Now, the daughter of the Top Gear presenter has shared a slew of snaps from her hospital bed as she gave a candid update as she explained how she is “so relieved” to have had the painful screws removed.
In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote: “Gorgeous gorgeous girls get their surgeries DONE!! So yesterday I had six screws and two of the plates that were holding my jaw together after it was broken last year removed and a bone graft done.
“I also had my brows sone and eyelashes curled and tinted (different procedures at different places) and the effect today is stunning lol. Hahahha.”

Emily reassured fans that she is finding the recovery a little easier than her previous surgery but is still in a “bunch of pain.”
She went on: “I am stuck very still in bed cos those pesky nose bleeds are back, swelling isn’t too bad – look like I’ve had a right hook to the eye and a s**t lip job and the bleeding gums are a bit sinister but we move.
“Also half of my face is stuck so LOL that my right eye won’t close and that stupid melted smile hahaha.”

The blonde bombshell is now forced to remain on a liquid diet with the help of her family, but feels “so relieved it’s over.”
She added: “I’ve been dealing with pain for a long time since the op and have found it really hard when working out/ being in the cold/ talking too much and those are legit the three corner stones of my personality and the fact that the surgeon thinks he’s found and fixed all the things that have cause pain is just JOY.
“The procedure was horrible I actually won’t lie about that but it’s sone and every day is a day closer to getting my life back and honestly BRING IT B*****S. Buckle up. Cos there’s something about jaw surgery recovery that really sees my content level up lol.”
Jeremy has three children; Emily, son Finlo and daughter Katya, who he shares with his ex-wife Frances Cain before the couple divorced in 2014.
