Denise Van Outen’s ex-fiancé Eddie Boxshall has revealed he lost over a stone in weight through “stress” after their breakup.
Eddie also claimed he has struggled with “anxiety” and hasn’t been able to sleep properly since splitting with Denise, 47.
The TV star dumped Eddie last month after being together for seven years and finding out he had been having phone sex and dates with other women.
Posing for a mirror selfie in the gym, Eddie told fans: “I’m just back into my training as I lost over a stone in weight due to stress and anxiety over the last four months.”
He added: “Exercise helps my mental health as well.”
After moving out of the Celebrity Gogglebox stars home Eddie claimed he’s been feeling “sluggish and crap.”
He said: “I never got much sleep last night as brain was working overtime with life in general.”
“Felt sluggish and crap this morning, but told myself to get up and at ’em.”
Since the breakup, trade worker Eddie previously took to Instagram sharing a note which appeared to hit out at Denise.
The statement read: “I’d rather be alone than be with someone who makes me feel lonely.”
Singer Denise admitted last year that she didn’t “give enough” to their relationship.
Speaking on the podcast Before We Say I Do, she said: “I’m very aware of me putting us in situations where I’m not giving enough.
“I’m not as affectionate as I should be and I feel like I’ve lost my way a little bit within the relationship.”
She added: “It’s a good relationship but I think it could be better if we take the time to discuss what is bothering us about each other so we can move forward.”
