Emmerdale child star Oscar Lloyd looks completely different 10 years after ITV soap exit

Ex-Emmerdale star Oscar Lloyd looks almost unrecognisable 10 years after leaving the ITV soap as Will Wylde.

The actor made his first appearance as Mark and Natasha Wylde’s son in 2009 when he was just 11 years old.

He managed to keep out of his family drama, which included murder, and departure from the village in 2011 after two years.

Oscar struck up a friendship with Belle Dingle and the youngsters promised to stay in touch after declaring their love for one another.

He also got badly injured by a horse before leaving to go and stay with his auntie in Dartford along with his sister Maisie.

Oscar was nominated for the Best Young Actor/Actress going at the British Soap Awards in 2009.

Since leaving the show, the TV star went on to appear on The 4 O’Clock Club as Ryan on CBBC until 2014 and landed himself a role on Doctor Who as Toby Avery alongside Matt Smith.

Oscar starred in The Coroner, and played three different characters on the BBC One daytime soap Doctors, with his last appearance in 2017.

The actor is now 24 has performs in stage and theatre production, as well as commercial work.

Mark Jermin Management recently tweeted out a photo of Oscar ahead of a new project.

Eagled-eyed soap fans were quick to spot the former child star from his time on Emmerdale.

The door was left open for Will’s return to Emmerdale so fans will have to wait and see if he will come back.

Elsewhere in the village, serial killer Meena Jutla’s (Paige Sandhu) shocking new plan could be about to backfire.

She has finally be captured after her brutal killing spree, but Friday’s (February 18) episode saw her try to keep the upper hand by lying in a police interview.

Much to the frustration of the detectives who are investigating her crimes, Meena claimed she was acting in self-defence when she murdered Ben Tucker. She did so in order to explain evidence which linked her to his death.

With no firm clues connecting her to the murders of Leanna Cavanagh or Andrea Tate, Meena denied having anything to do with either tragedy.

In upcoming scenes, Leanna’s father Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) turns to Cain Dingle for support after the events of the past few days.

While turning over the soil, Liam and Cain have inadvertently managed to make Meena’s trinket box – full of mementoes from her murder victims.

Cain hugs Liam, giving him some much-needed support. Liam’s wife Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) then arrives and spots the trinket box, which is still half-buried in the soil.

Liam and Leyla don’t immediately realise the significance of the box, but they decide to look inside.

Will the penny drop when they see what’s hidden away in the box?

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV at 7pm
