Proud dad Peter Andre praises lookalike son Junior as he heads out for 'special night'

Peter Andre has shared a series of snaps of his eldest ‘mini-me’ son Junior on Instagram.

16-year-old Junior, who Peter shares with reality star Katie Price, looked dapper in pictures the Mysterious Girl singer shared to his 1.8million followers.

Junior – who’s signed a music record deal with Columbia records – donned a metallic purple suit which he teamed with a black shirt, black shoes and a chunky chain and bracelet.

Father of four Peter captioned the snaps: “My boy getting ready for a special night. Looking good, son.”

Sharing the same snaps on his page, Junior captioned his own post: “I just wanna see you smile,” with many suggesting that he could be heading to meet a mysterious girl.

Another photo showed Junior sitting in the back of a taxi with a box of Laurent Perrier champagne strapped in next to him.

Stunned fans were quick to comment on the post, with many responding about how uncanny the father and son resemblance is.

One wrote, “You dad’s double”, while another said, “Mini you!”

A third added they could also see mum Katie in him, commenting: “Looks so like his dad with his mummy’s smile.”

Another penned: “Same eyes, mouth, nose and shape of his face but with Pete’s dark colouring.”

Last August, the teen announced he was following in the dad’s footsteps and is already making ripples in the music industry.

After signing to the prestige label – which Harry Styles and Calvin Harris are also signed too – Junior revealed he had spent weeks having secret recording sessions in the studio.

An overwhelmed Junior said: “Wow. Where do I start? These past six months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it,”

The teen has already recorded tracks with two up-and-coming artists at an independent studio called Rebel Records in London.

Peter voiced his opinions about his eldest entering the entertainment industry.

He said: “It’s a mixture of I’m proud and I’m excited and I see how hard he works.

“He practices every day just how I used to do when I was a kid, but there’s also a fear to it.”
