Kerry Katona has opened up about her body image issues as she explained how she became so self-conscious that she regularly cries looking at herself in the mirror “every day”.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 41, confessed how she has been feeling “really uncomfortable in her own skin” in recent years despite living a clean and healthy lifestyle.
As she opened up about her insecurities in her candid column with new! Magazine, the singer informed her loyal fans how she has been consistently working out in order to ditch the pounds.
She went on to confess how she’s booked a breast consultation after fears that her chest has grown despite getting a breast reduction last year in order to return to her former figure.
Kerry explained: “I’m going for a consultation this week at Pall Mall Cosmetics to get my boobs checked after having a breast reduction last year.
“I’m just going for a check-up to see if everything is as it should be. I actually feel like my boobs have grown bigger!
“I’m still feeling really uncomfortable in my own skin at the moment. No matter how healthy I’m being and how hard I’m training, I can’t seem to lose weight.
“It doesn’t even feel like I’m in my own body! I look in the mirror and cry every day.”
Earlier this month, the reality TV star explained earlier that she often feels guilty when she treats herself, making her feel sad and leading her to eat more food.
She went on to explain how she was unable to go to the gym because people stare at her while she works out.
Kerry told fans: “We’ve all gotta start somewhere and I don’t feel comfortable enough to be doing this in a class right now.
“I know when I go to class everyone is staring at me because of who I am.”
It comes after the blonde bombshell revealed how she had gained two-and-a-half stone after indulging in comfort-eating biscuits.
Over the festive period, the mum-of-five overindulged when she was struck with Covid and vowed to shift the weight in the new year.
