Emmerdale families wage war as Charity and Chas clash in heated scenes on ITV soap

Emmerdale viewers are in for a rollercoaster ride as families wage war on each other in the Dales.

Cousins Charity (Emma Atkins) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) have decided to battle it out in the ITV village, and it’s sure to end in chaos.

It comes as the ITV soap is about to enter a new chapter in its 50th birthday year – moving to a fresh timeslot of 7.30pm across five weeknights.

However, it’s clear Emmerdale bosses have already loaded their episodes with unmissable drama ahead of the soap’s new era.

The Dingles are the heart of life in the village, and they’re known for their famously feisty relationships.

The Woolpack and the B&B are due to host special events on the same day, and the feuding landladies take sides in a bid to get one over on the other.

It’s all going to kick off then, because Charity and Chas try to sabotage the other’s events, and “all hell breaks loose” when they finally confront each-other.

Meanwhile, Mandy (Lisa Riley) is shocked to find out her son Vinny (Bradley Johnson) has secretly tied the knot with his girlfriend Liv (Isobel Steele), and she knew nothing about it.

Vinny is filled with guilt over the hushed-up wedding after Mandy tell him she feels betrayed and disrespected by the wedding.

It remains to be seen whether or not Vinny and Liv will be able to redeem themselves in Mandy’s eyes, and win her approval.

Elsewhere in the village, murderous Meena (Paige Sandhu) might be in police custody, but it doesn’t mean Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) is safe.

She’s desperate for Meena to confess to her brutal killings, so she goes to visit her cell, but Meena always has tricks up her sleeve.

Rhona (Zoe Henry) has always suffered with her estranged mother Mary (Louise Jameson), so when she arrives in the village, how will it affect their relationship?

Emmerdale is set to usher in its new era from Monday March 7 during its 50th anniversary year.
