Molly-Mae Hague says she's been left with 'full beard' after cosmetic procedure

Beauty and fashion influencer Molly-Mae Hague has shared her disappointment regarding a cosmetic treatment that went wrong and said she has now been left with a “beard.”

The 22-year-old Pretty Little Thing Creative Director spoke candidly to her 1.63million YouTube subscribers about the excess hair on her face after undergoing a simple dermaplaning treatment.

Addressing her fans, while applying makeup, she said: “If you guys can see that I do have a little bit of a beard, we’re not talking about it.

“I need to speak to you guys about my battle with dermaplaning – and just wish I never got dermaplaning.

“I basically have a full beard now,” she added.

Speaking about how the procedure works, the former Love Island star said: “It’s a type of facial, or you could actually do it yourself with a type of razor but I had a dermaplaning facial, where they remove the peach fuzz from your face to make your face so baby smooth and so soft.”

“Basically with the dermaplaning, I got into the habit of having a dermaplaning facial and my peach fuzz just grows back at rapid levels now.”

Molly explained to her viewers that the procedure prevents the hair from growing back, however, once you start removing hair on a specific area of your body, you end up having to do the treatment more over time.

She continued: “It was meant to sort of prevent it from growing back and meant that it would grow back less or something.

“But with any hair removal, like when you shave your legs, it means you have to start shaving them more, when you start shaving your armpits like when you’re a younger girl, early teens, it means you have to always shave them.”

Molly confessed that she regrets doing the procedure

The star then confessed that she regrets ever doing the cosmetic procedure as she finds it difficult to keep up with it.

She added: “It’s just one of those things, when you start doing it you can’t really stop.

“So yeah you could say I wish I never started the dermaplaning because I’m not the sort of person who keeps up regularly with my beauty treatments.”
