Fans of ITV’s Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway appeared to be yearning for previous show regulars Little Ant and Dec, as a new game reminded viewers of the incredible duo.
During the latest episode of the popular evening programme, viewers at home watched young children take part in a segment called Kiddieokee.
Selected members of the audience were then tasked with guessing the song that the young children were singing to.
But although the segment was entertaining to watch, several fans appeared to miss Little Ant and Dec.
Jumping on Twitter, viewers shared their opinions.
One fan said: “Can’t believe that they scrapped little Ant and Dec.”

Another fan penned: “I think everyone is missing Little Ant & Dec right now.”
A third chimed: “I still love the show but miss some of the older features like super computer ant vs Dec and little ant and Dec.”
While another viewer questioned: “These kids make me wonder where little Ant & Dec are now? Must be about 25.”
Little Ant and Dec were the comical replacement of Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly and interviewed big celebrity names and politcians because Ant and Dec “couldn’t be bothered.”
Children presenters James Pallister and Dylan McKenna-Redshaw first took part on the Saturday evening show in 2003 and ran rings around anyone that crossed their paths.
The mini duo was bought back in 2013, however, they were replaced by two different boys due to the fact that James and Dylan were a lot older and taller than presenters Ant and Dec.
Both James and Dylan still live in the North East – with James going on to work as a vehicle technician for BMW according to his Facebook page in 2021.
Meanwhile, Dylan has helped people lose weight, gain muscle and improve their overall sports performance by starting his own nutrition business.
James and Dylan’s replacement Neil Overend and Haydn Reid also outgrew the role a few years later.
Talking to Daily Star at the time, a source said: “Little Ant and Dec have outgrown the role, quite literally, and as such won’t be returning to the show this year.
“Little Dec has his SATs next year and Little Ant is moving to high school so it felt like the right time for them to move on and focus on their studies.”
