Katie Price is certainly not one to shy away from a fight as her ongoing rows with many of her ex-partners and former friends will tell you.
And the mum-of-five certainly has a bone to pick with her ex-husband Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh.
The 41-year-old and the Mysterious Girl star share 16-year-old son Junior and 14-year-old daughter Princess from their four-year-long marriage back in 2005.
Years after their split, subtle swipes have continued to be shared online.
Now, the Daily Star has taken a look back at Katie’s bitter feud with the two lovebirds.
Where it all started
The feud first started back in 2016 after Katie slammed Peter for sabotaging her career during an interview with The Guardian.
Despite splitting in 2009, Katie accused the singer of making their brutal split a “game” which sabotaged her career after she found herself without management after the break-up.
At the time of the explosive interview, Emily was pregnant with her second child, just three months before she gave birth to her son Theo.
She told the publication: “When I split with Pete, Claire [their joint manager] stayed with Pete, and the only thing that hurts is Claire never sat down with me and said – you know I’d been with her six years – she never said, ‘You know what Kate, I’m going to help you find someone else, I’m going to help protect you’.
“But instead they lapped it all up, and Pete’s there posing with the kids doing everything, ah poor Pete, poor Pete – I had no one to represent me, I was like a lost lamb, I had no representation to help protect me, nothing.
“Whereas Pete was protected straight away. So that gave him a lead, it was like, ‘Oh f**k it, let’s pick on Kate, she’s got no one representing her so now we’ll attack her and attack her cos she’s got no one to fight back.”
Katie hits back at Emily
And the relationship between Katie and Emily didn’t get much better in 2018 after the doctor made what Katie took to be a major dig at her for her boozy lifestyle.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Emily explained how the loving couple decided to ditch the drink and start an alcohol-free lifestyle to help keep the harmony in the family home.
She told the publication: “Neither of us drink alcohol, I think drinking can sometimes cause rows.
“We’ve been together for six and a half years, and whilst we’re out of the honeymoon phase, we still enjoy quality time together.
“We have the same values, and we instil those values in the kids. We’re both very calm and laid back and we have a really relaxed family atmosphere.”
However, Katie was quick to read between the lines and took to Twitter in a since deleted post to slam the loving mother, believing Emily had made a sly dig about her in the interview.
She wrote: “Emily mind your beak, don’t judge me, watch my show at 10pm tonight on @QuestRedtv then see if you dig about me #donthatemecauseyouaintme.”
An insider later told Closer magazine: “[Katie] feels that if she gets back to her best and creates an idyllic family home, the kids will want to spend more time with her.
“She loves the idea of them returning back to Peter and Emily’s home and talking about how much fun they had with their mum or, even better, admitting they prefer being with her.
“That would feel like sweet revenge.”
Katie accuses Peter of ‘trying to bring her down’
Katie told Closer magazine at the time how she has been struggling with stress through all the arguments they have had over the years.
The starlet told the publication: “Honestly, Pete’s doing my head in,” before adding he tried to “bring her down”.
“He’s so different from what he was. He brings me so much stress, but there is nothing that he or any of my exes can do to bring me down or get to me.
“All these people have wronged me, I didn’t make them do it, I didn’t ask for it.”
Temporary friendship between households
Just one year later, Katie went on to brand her and Emily’s distanced relationship as “chalk and cheese” after Peter announced on social media that Katie and he were finally friends again.
Despite the apparent newfound friendship, the former Page 3 model made it clear that the two women were still polar opposites despite the bridge between the two households.
She told new! Magazine how Emily is calm and collected while the she is livelier and more upbeat which Katie argued is similar to Pete’s personality.
The former glamour model reassured viewers: “I do like Emily as well. We’re like chalk and cheese, we’re completely and utterly different!
“So when I go to Pete’s, I think he thinks I’m lively. I’m like, ‘You were with me for six years, Pete! You know what I’m like. You were actually the same. You’re nuts as well.”
TV show rivalry
In September 2020, Katie announced that she was launching her new reality show titled The Adventures of Katie and Carl Woods just months after Pete has announced his own show, The Sun’s series Life With The Andres.
At the time, an insider told Closer Magazine how Katie was putting everything into rivalling Pete’s show.
It is understood that she and her Love Island fiancé were determined to become a bigger power couple than him and Emily.
The source told Closer magazine: “Katie believes it’s the real deal with Carl and that they can be a huge power pair, like Emily and Peter.
“She’s had to watch them become TV’s golden couple, and now she thinks she’s found the right man, she’s not going to waste any time in being as happy and successful as her ex and his wife.
“It’s all or nothing with her. She wants to knock Pete off his reality show perch with a bigger and better series. That’ll only be the start of her war against him and Emily in the ratings.
“She thinking huge deals, endorsements, and maybe even trying to crack America – she has lots of ideas.”
The feud re-sparks
Back in November, Katie was on the war path as she launched an attack on exes Peter and Kieran Hayler, with them each being the fathers to two of her children.
The reality star slammed the pair during an online rant and declared “I hate the dads” in a candid chat with the Mumsnet podcast, Swear, Snot & Tears.
On the show Katie was asked: “How successfully do you co-parent with the kids’ dads? Is it hard?”
She interrupted the host as she explained her relationship with her ex-partners to listeners at home.
She said: “Forget it, I will stop you there. I hate the dads. The Priory no1 and The Priority no2. That’s all I’m saying. My relationships with them are non-existent.
“One dad there is just absolutely no contact and he tries to control me all the time. And the other dad, I can’t bear him, but we take for the kids.”
Earlier that month, the mum-of-five suspected the two exes were involved in a story about her as she named and shamed them in a public Instagram post.
She wrote: “I’m asking you both kindly to leave me alone now and stop making money from my name.”
But Peter wasn’t having any of it as he hit back: “I don’t do stories. It’s not my bag. I never get involved. Just thought I’d let anyone interest know. Nice try though [smiling emoji].”
Katie brands Emily ‘disgusting’
In recent months, Katie hit out at the NHS doctor when she branded her “disgusting” alongside a series of shocking accusations in a now-deleted post online.
Within the lengthy post shared on her Instagram Stories, Katie accused the step-mum of stopping her daughter from visiting her while she was in Rehab at The Priory.
She wrote: “My mouth has been shut for so long but I’ve had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so called woman @dr_emily_official.
“Always said I don’t want to be famous yet doesn’t do too bad to stay away from media and TV and now trying to make a career out of it.
“So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children’s faces up!”
She went on to say: “She claims to be a doctor who clearly doesn’t have a clue about mental health.
“Oh and stopped my daughter from visiting me at The Priory when she wanted to see her mum. She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down.
“Emily you are not and never will be my kids’ parent so mind your business, you’re so two faced and definitely not the person you portray to the public.”
She signed off her outburst with: “I think you’re a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life.”
Emily recently insisted how she tries not to overstep the mark when it comes to disciplining her stepchildren in an effort to keep the peace between the two households.
The doctor explained: “I tend to leave the disciplining up to Pete and often I feel like a big sister, which works really well for us.”
One way she keeps the house calm and collected is through a strict routine schedule to establish home as a safe space for the kids.
She told Closer magazine: “I think routine helps kids feel safe in structure. I try to keep things consistent for them as much as I can.
“I’m quite strict, especially with stuff like manners. Me and Pete are quite similar, really we both are very much up on honesty, manners and kindness.”
