RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Kitty Scott-Claus shoots music video ahead of West End debut

Drag Race UK star Kitty Scott-Claus has filmed a music video, Daily Star Online can reveal.

The performer shot it to promote her role in West End comedy Death Drop.

In the show she plays faded pop star Shazza.

And she’s gone all out for the role by making a video for spoof song Oopsie Whoopsie.

It sees her sporting a string of wacky outfits and performing with two hunky backing dancers.

Kitty will make her debut in the show when it opens at London’s Criterion Theatre on Friday.

She said: “I trained in musical theatre at drama school, so I feel like this is a full circle moment.

The show also stars fellow drag queen Jujubee, who is one of the contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World, which is currently airing on BBC Three.

Kitty has had a string of big-money offers since finding fame on Drag Race UK last year.

The star is one of the celebs to sign up for the new series of Celebrity MasterChef.

Other contestants will include ex-Corrie hunk Ryan Thomas, presenter Lisa Snowdon, Strictly dancer Katya Jones and former footballer Jimmy Bullard.

Speaking about her upcoming West End role, Kitty previously said: “I am thrilled to be heading back to the West End with the wonderful team at TuckShop! I’ve got some big heels to fill following Courtney and Willam – but luckily I’m a size 10 so I’m used to big shoes.”

TuckShop Creative Director and Producer Christopher D. Clegg said: “We are beyond excited to be bringing Death Drop back for its third West End season.

“The audiences of this show are wild for Holly Stars’ hilarious comedy, and having Kitty Scott-Claus, who’s first ever drag gig was for TuckShop in Gals Aloud, headlining after her star turn on Drag Race UK is a great full circle moment.

“To have one of the world’s most beloved drag queens Jujubee playing opposite Kitty will make for one unforgettable, fabulous, and fierce night in the theatre!”
