Coronation Street fans were quick to compare Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaney to her on-screen mum Kate Ford who plays Tracy Barlow.
Taking to Instagram to post a stunning selfie, Elle, 19, looked gorgeous as she beamed for the camera.
Donning a faux fur jacket in a green hue, a fresh face with minimal makeup, and her brunette locks down and straightened, Elle smiled for the camera as she snapped up a storm.
Posting the snap on Instagram, she captioned it with an array of different emojis in green hues – a subtle nod to her attire.
Looking worlds away from her on-screen character, Elle’s friends and fans were quick to comment on the stunning display, while others compared her to a Corrie icon.
“You actually look like Kate Ford here… it’s crazy,” one fan of the young actress penned.
Another commented: “Lovely pic Elle xx.”
“So stunning omg,” swooned another.
While a fourth gushed: “Gorgeous girlie.”
In the soap, Amy is the daughter of Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).
Elle has portrayed the role of Amy since 2010, when it was announced that she would taking on the coveted role.
Just the other week the stunning star was out on the tiles with a clan of her co-stars as they bid a fond farewell to Alexandra Mardell who plays Emma in the popular ITV soap.
In Coronation Street Emma is Amy’s half-sister and the pair have grown incredibly close over the past few months – but all of that will be in jeopardy when a crime catches up with Emma.
For her leaving bash, an entire clan of the cast of Corrie were in attendance as they celebrated the young actress moving on to pastures new.
In a snap posted at the time, Elle posed next to Alexandra, Mollie Gallagher (Nina) and Harriet Bibby (Summer).
This comes as Elle’s Corrie character Amy Barlow grows up and blossoms into a woman on the cobbles.
With a new boyfriend in the shape of Jacob Hay (played by Jack James Ryan), Amy is fast falling head over heels for the boy that got her cousin Simon into dealing drugs.
Having just been through a tough ordeal, Amy has just experienced getting her drink spiked – something that her slightly older beau ended up getting the blame for.
After the culprit was revealed as Max Turner and not Jacob, Amy and her love interest’s relationship has started to blossom even further.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
