BBC Breakfast appeared to undergo a host overhaul on Sunday (March 13) as unlikely duo Victoria Derbyshire and Roger Johnson took to the presenting chairs.
For Sunday’s it usually Nina Warhurst and Ben Thompson who have occupied the red sofa together but this week producers had other ideas.
Journalist and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Victoria, 53, took centre stage alongside co-star Roger, 52, with the twosome delivering the latest headlines and updates on the heartbreaking situation in Ukraine.
At one point in the show, hosts and guests on the programme were overcome with emotion as they discussed the governments new scheme to help bring Ukraine families to Britain.
Households in the UK are being offered £350 a month to open up their spare bedrooms and free homes to people fleeing the war in Ukraine.

The government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme is requesting for goodwill from those with a extra space to accommodate a refugee for a period of at least six months in exchange for “thank you” payment.
Sabrina and Tony appeared on Sunday’s programme to explain that they had been in touch with a family wanting to come into the UK to offer up their spare room.
The husband and wife broke down in tears as they talked about their devastation with wanting to do more to help those who are desperately trying to flee for safety.
Roger explained: “Sabrina and Tony, you had this thought, which many people are sharing this morning.
“You reached out, Sabrina, in a nutshell just explain how you found Lillia.

“You haven’t yet been able to bring her over but you’re in touch.”
“Yeah,” added Sabrina. “So last Friday I registered on a database and I got an email from Lillia Friday morning.
“So I had her email address, I contacted her straight away.
“She said, ‘How can I get into the UK?’ I said, ‘Look, I’m at work but can we Facetime? And that was Friday evening.”
“And why did you want to do this, Tony?” quizzed Roger.
In response, he told the host: “Well when we saw the war started we were horrified so we donated. We took medicines and clothes to the local charities.

“But then once I was watching it on the telly and I saw the children in the subway, going down there for the night to sleep, as parents I pictured my children in that situation, me in that situation, Sabrina in that situation.
“I was so upset about it, I thought we must do something more than just financial assistance.
“Sabrina came home from work, I told her, I said ‘look, we must do something’.
“She said ‘well, we’ve got a spare room in the house, leave it with me I’m going to see what I can do’ and since then we’ve been really, really pushing to make it happen.”
