Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen left her fans confused this week after she posted a picture of her daughter riding Tony the Pony indoors.

The snap featured Annas, seven, on the miniature pony’s back, next to a mountain of laundry drying in front of a hearth and sisters Violet, 10, and Edith, 12, snuggled on the couch.

Amanda captioned the post: “Drying washing by fire and a clotheshorse.”

Fans immediately flocked into the comment section, with one joking: “Think your clothes horse is on its way out.”

Another said of Annas and Tony: “Their bond is just beautiful.”

While a third said: “Aww Tony the Pony in on the action too.”

Animal lover and mum-of-nine Amanda amused a further follower with the snap of her kids and pony indoors, sparking the comment: “So far removed from my London life. My 16-year-old shrieked today at a moth in the kitchen.”

The mother of nine, whose kids range from age seven to 20, lives at Ravenseat Farm in Yorkshire with husband Clive, 66.

Amanda’s latest posts have provided an insight to her 500,000 instagram followers as to how she is “carrying on” as normal and letting her children enjoy farm life as the war in Ukraine rolls on.

Gorgeous Amanda, 47, has been hailed by her instagram fans as a type of heroine for helping her followers to mentally switch off with her snaps of her idyllic family life on her Yorkshire farm.

Amanda previously told the Yorkshire Post: “We are just a normal family dealing with everything life throws at us.”

She recently heard three fighter jets over her Ravenseat Farm in Yorkshire, something she branded as their “peace shattered”, yet she continues to post how she and her family are carrying on with their farm life.

One of Amanda’s followers gushed: “Your posts are a sort of haven for our stressed minds to escape to.”

A second penned “balm for the soul”, with reference to troubled times.

Another follower wrote: “This is what you call a home! I love it, full of love not materialistic things.”
