Corrie's Sacha Parkinson looks dramatically different now after ditching blonde hair

Stunning soap star Sacha Parkinson has decided to ditch her trademark blonde locks, and she looks dramatically different with her new brunette style.

The former Coronation Street star, 30, played blonde-haired Sian Powers in the hit ITV soap before she walked away from the Cobbles in late 2011.

However, fans might be forgiven for not recognising the the Salford-born actress these days, because she’s decided to ditch the blonde for a beautiful brunette hue.

The newly-brunette bombshell first showed off her new brown style in a sweet snap shared to Instagram – where she could be seen hanging out with two of her glamorous pals.

Turning heads, Sacha looked glamorous as she smiled in a plunging leopard-print top, with her hair styled in straight tresses framing her face.

All dolled up, she opted for a full face of make-up and a radiant shade of red lipstick to complete her look.

Gushing over her pals, she captioned the snap: “ily” [I love you] with a love-heart emoji.

Fans were swooning all over her new brunette locks, with many flattering the star in the comments.

One fan wrote: “Omg your hair” with love-eye emojis.

A second said: “Sacha Parkinson with brunette hair is a big fat yes from me”

Sacha joined the Corrie cast back in 2008, and she the soap’s history as being part of its first lesbian couple with Brooke Vincent’s character Sophie – a storyline which ran in 2010.

Sacha told Manchester Evening News her character’s exit was easier to act out as her character had to appear upset, and she was sad to leave in real life despite making the decision to walk away.

She said: “The last scenes were actually easier because both myself and Brooke had to be so upset for them.”

Sacha continued: “It was hard for us as people, but easy to play out the emotions because we were so upset ourselves!”

More recently, Parkinson joined the ITV drama Safe House for its second series in 2016, and last year she starred in the British comedy film The Pebble and the Boy.
