Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin shocked fans when the brunette beauty missed her early morning weather report after realising she had overslept for work after a booze-filled night out on the town.
The meteorologist, 40, was due to share the latest weather developments ahead of the upcoming weekend during Friday’s (March 18) instalment of the popular ITV morning show.
However, fans couldn’t help but notice her absence as Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard welcomed Charlotte Hawkins onto the show who was ready to step-in for the regular weather segment.
The presenters were quick to inform fans about the reason behind Laura’s absence as they revealed how the star attended the ultimate news quiz with several other members of the GMB team.

And she wasn’t the only ITV star who attended the games night as This Morning’s Alison Hammond and Loose Women’s Charlene White made an appearance at the fun-filled event.
Throughout the night, Laura shared a slew of pics alongside her fellow ITV stars after their sensational win where she was seen indulging on glasses of wine and champagne.
Ben revealed: “She’s the last to wake-up this morning, she’s overslept,” as Kate chimed in: “Nobody could raise her!” as the camera panned to her empty seat by the weather map.”
It was at this point that Charlotte noted: “I was going to cover her back and I thought no one would notice, I’ll just seamlessly carry on and fill in until she gets here.”

Kate quipped: “That’s because you’re a lovely person, Charlotte. Ben and I want to revel” as Ben added: “She brought the trophy home, she’s supposed to bring the trophy in.”
The blonde bombshell explained to viewers at home: “The whole plan was, she would take it home because she was in this morning.
“She was going to bring the trophy in, we were all going to celebrate the win for Good Morning Britain, which is lovely …
“But nobody could raise her this morning could they? I think if we all put £1 on her voice being husky, we won’t be disappointed.”

Charlotte explained the reason behind the late-night quiz which raised £200,000 for charities Action Child and Disasters Emergency Committee.
But Ben couldn’t help but take one more jab at his MIA co-host after Charlotte flawlessly delivered the weather report.
He said: “I’m not messing around, Laura makes such a fuss about how hard that is, you make it look very easy.”
Mortified at his cheeky dig, Kate stepped in to defend the absent weather reporter, saying” “Stop it! To be fair, Laura is a meteorologist, she looks at the chart, she gathers information.
“Charlotte was, to be fair to you, brilliantly reading someone else’s work. I’m just trying to make up for the fact that we’ve named and shamed Laura for being an oversleeper.”

Just before 7am, the weather girl eventually rocked up to the studio looking better than ever despite her wild night out, and revealed how she actually turned down the after-party but simply. forgot to set her alarm.
However, viewers still suspected the starlet was a little hungover as she was seen eating chicken nuggets for breakfast and drinking coke which she clumsily spilt live on air.
