Paul Hollywood has revealed he is obsessed with kids’ toy LEGO and builds giant showstoppers.
The Great British Bake Off judge said his pride and joy is a huge recreation of the Titanic.
Paul, 56, bragged: “It’s 4.5ft long. It took me four days.
“I’ve also got a metal motorbike one with 6,000 pieces in it.
“And then I have a grand piano here that’s made out of LEGO. And it actually plays!”
The food guru said that, rather than baking, he is hooked on playing with plastic bricks as a way to unwind.
He added: “I love LEGO.
“It’s good for my brain. I love building LEGO when I’m stressed.
“I can forget about everything else that is going on and get totally lost in it.”
Paul is back on telly next week for the celebrity version of their hit series in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
And his co-star Prue Leith, 82, said she has her own unique way to de-stress off-screen too.
She said: “I love to repurpose stuff. I made a chandelier.
“Well, I didn’t make the actual chandelier structure, but if you look at it, it’s strung with teacups and necklaces.
“I collect antique teacups and, as you know, I like a big necklace. So, I like to do things like that.”
But when in comes to Prue’s quirky clobber, Paul admitted he was stunned when viewers thought she was wearing something she shouldn’t.
He gasped: “I was shocked a few years ago people were going on about Prue’s necklaces and said, ‘Prue wears anal beads!’ I was absolutely staggered when I saw that.”
And Prue told Heat magazine that she is ready to calm down her funky fashion from now on.
She added: “I think I may have been a little too extreme this year. I might have to tone it down next year.”
