Kym Marsh had Coronation Street co-star romance set up as ITV pal reveals wedding link

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has opened up about his matchmaking talents after he set up two of his co-stars.

The ITV star chatted exclusively to the Daily Star about his time on the soap and his plans for the future.

Antony, who plays Sean Tully in the soap, spoke about his previous matches and made a nod to the first co-star couple he helped pair up which was Jenny McAlpine and her partner.

Jenny plans Fizz Brown on the cobbles and has also been on the programme for a lengthy stint.

When asked if he had ever managed to set up any of his other co-stars, he claimed that there was.

When asked how long he sees himself staying on Corrie for, Sean, 46, said: “I’ve always said if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

“I genuinely thought I’d be there a couple of months, maybe one-two weeks, but that initial few weeks turned into years and now it’s 20 years and I don’t feel like I look old enough but there we go…”

Antony is currently starring at The Ideal Home Show where he will be there to take pics with fans at a pop-up Rovers Return.
