Inside Reese Witherspoon's lavish Nashville mansion transformed on Netflix

Reese Witherspoon allowed fans to look inside her stunning Nashville home in a Netflix series called Get Organised with The Home Edit.

The Hollywood star, 45, is famed for her roles in hit films like Legally Blonde (2001) and shining stints with her pal Jennifer Aniston in the smash-sitcom Friends.

The Oscar-winner is recognised as one of the highest-paid actresses in the world, so it comes as no surprise that she’s bagged herself a luxurious Tennessee home.

Netflix viewers have now been able to look inside Reese’s abode in The Home Edit show, where celebrities get to work on their houses.

The first episode of the Netflix series, which first premiered in 2020, saw organisers Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin see to Reese’s wardrobe.

Witherspoon wished to sort out her clothes, which includes her on-screen costumes for films like Legally Blonde.

Reese’s newly-renovated home is situated near her family members in Tennessee, where she was raised.

Explaining why she opted to live in Nashville, the actress said: “Nashville’s really important to me because this is my hometown and my family is still here in Nashville.

“My mum, my dad, my brother, and my nieces.”

The Big Little Lies star said she has “happy memories of growing up” in the south, and is “so excited” to have a family home there.

Showing the girls around the place, Reese said: “We just moved in this week”.

Her hallway boasted a blue and white chinoiserie wallpaper, fabric chairs and vases – and a stylish downstairs seating area.

Commenting on the abundance of blue artwork, she said: “It’s a lot of blue and white and a lot of wallpaper.”

The actress showed off her wonderful winding staircase which lead up to her lush walk-in wardrobe.

Reese admitted: “I think it’s very luxurious to have an extra closet,”

Her closet boasted an impressive costume collection, from her iconic pink costume as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde franchise to the glam gowns she wore to the Oscars.

The film-star’s upper lounge area was kitted out with blue sofas and an additional staircase, and she also enjoys a huge golden mirror next to a bright yellow sofa.

Describing her home goals, she said it was her “dream-dream-dream project that [Clea and Joanna] would come and help me organise my memorabilia from all my movies, all my dresses, my clothes, my pictures, my costumes, everything.”

The pair were happy to help the star, and they created a gorgeous display for her movie memorabilia.

By the look on her face, i’s fair to say Reese was rather pleased with the duo’s creative work.
