The Chase fans were left rather distracted on Tuesday afternoon after they couldn’t seem to keep their eyes off an attractive player.
Gareth came on the show with bags of confidence and seem to have incredible quizzing knowledge to match.
Showcasing his talent on Bradley Walsh’s daytime show, the contestant left his mark on viewers with his charming personality.
Seeing the player on their screens, many were left swooning and quickly shared their opinions online.
Jumping onto Twitter, one fan said: “Gareth is very pretty.”
Another viewer chimed: “Hello Gareth,” followed by a love heart emoji.
A third fan declared just how much they were feeling the hunky player and penned: “Gareth is fab xox fancy u.”
Meanwhile a fourth exclaimed: “Gareth’s a bit sexy!”
As the first contestant to face chaser Jenny Ryan, Gareth performed brilliantly and sailed into the final round.
But Gareth wasn’t the only player to do exceptionally well for themselves on the show, as Mike and Karen also put on a spectacular performance and went through comfortably to the final.
After gaining £8,000 in the cash builder round, Karen thought it was only right for her to go for the higher offer on the table which was an eye-watering £47,000.
And although many fans initially doubted Karen’s knowledge to begin with, they were left stunned when she added the huge sum of money to the team’s kitty.
Sharing their thoughts on the player, one person penned: “Aww I like Karen she’s a good player. Really ballsy of her to go for the £47k!”
Another said: “Whatever happens Karen has won the respect of us all today.”
“Brad’s right, they are a super team. They should call themselves Karen and the Bottlers,” another added.
In the final round, the team looked promising. and fans at home were certainly backing them all to win their £60,000 jackpot.
But despite having great knowledge between them, they gave a relatively shaky performance and only managed to answer 17 questions correctly between them.
Chaser Jenny clearly wasn’t phased by the number and managed to beat the team with no pushbacks and seconds to spear.
Jumping back on Twitter, a social media user chimed: “Credit where it’s due, cracking performance from @jenlion on #TheChase tonight.”
