X Factor's Ray Quinn gives update from P&O ferry he works on after career U-turn

Ray Quinn’s fans admitted to a touch of the green-eyed monster after he shared a snap of him in the Caribbean as he sails with P&O Ferries.

The star, who was runner-up on The X Factor in 2006, swapped singing for carpet fitting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But he has now returned to doing what he loves best – on cruise ships this time.

Ray’s latest Instagram snap showed him clad in shorts and a t-shirt during a day off in Saint Kitts.

The huge cruise ship was behind him as he soaked up the sunshine.

“Lovely day off the ship today… back to work tonight,” he told fans, sharing a microphone emoji.

Fans were seriously impressed by Ray’s new place of work.

“Nice pic, sweet!” one posted in the comments section.

Another confessed: “Jealous you’re in Saint Kitts. I’ve booked two cruises that call there and both times that port’s been cancelled.”

“Now that’s a boat! Wow!” said another.

“I could actually be persuaded to go on a cruise…” another person wrote.

Fans who had already seen the former Hollyoaks star’s show on the boat took the opportunity to say how much they’d enjoyed it.

“We went to see you on your first night, amazing,” said one.

Another wrote: “Saw you on Britannia 3 weeks ago in the Limelight… you were awesome… had a great evening.”

“Keep smashing it mate,” said another.

Earlier this month the singer revealed that his fiancée Emily Ashleigh is pregnant with their first child together.
