Tipping Point viewers were left in hysterics when host Ben Shephard accidentally delivered a cheeky innuendo to contestants.
The popular host was giving his encouragement to his latest batch of jackpot hopefuls on Friday’s (March 25th) show when he delivered a catchphrase that had fans of the show deeply amused.
Ben, 47, was egging on contestant Simon to get extra counters for his prize pool as he considered where to place his counters after the previous player Linda’s effort.
Ben then urged him to choose wisely so he could pick the correct drop zone to get a hold of “Linda’s danglers.”
He said: “Settles well. Bit more centrally than the others. Can you get hold of Linda’s danglers?”
Seeing the hilarity in what Ben had said viewers then took to Twitter to share their amusement as they commented on the wording.
One wrote: “Just watching Tipping point. Did Ben just say ‘Let’s see if you can get a hold of Linda’s danglers’?”
Another added: “Ben Shepherd said to Simon, “let’s see if you can get at Linda’s danglers” ffs.”
A third continued: “Ooh get hold of Linda’s danglers #tippingpoint.”
A fourth social media user tweeted: “Another sexual innuendo show today. Danglers, Uranus. What’s next #tippingpoint.”
A fifth posted: “Can you get hold of Linda’s danglers? Hahahahaha. How rude is that.”
Sadly Simon’s efforts weren’t enough to get him through to the final and both he and Linda crashed out leaving rival Toni to battle for the Jackpot prize.
Toni’s clever gameplay and ample knowledge saw her cruise to the last round with an impressive £3400 in her pot.
The social media executive took a gamble on her winnings by taking the trade hoping to bag the £10,000 grand prize so she could travel to Australia and the Far East for some sightseeing with her best friend.
However, after placing all three counters strategically in drop zone one the hopeful winner failed to drop the jackpot counter and had to walk away from the show empty-handed.
