Saturday Night Takeaway was hit with complaints from fuming viewers who claimed the show’s studio audience were “too loud”.
The hit ITV show, hosted by Geordie deo Ant and Dec, returned to screens on Saturday night (March 26), but it wasn’t long before fans were reeling over sound issues.
In fact, the show had only just begun airing when fans flocked to Twitter to slam the show’s excitable studio audience which could be heard whooping and cheering throughout the broadcast.
In fact, some viewers claimed the audience noise was “embarrassing and cringe-worthy”, whilst others demanded the show sort out the alleged sound problem as they could hardly hear segments on the show because of the noise.
One fan wrote: “Stop whooping like morons on #SaturdayNightTakeaway please audience. It’s embarrassing and cringe-worthy.”
A second said: “please sort your sound out! It’s a battle every week to hear over the studio audience!!”
A third commented: “Please tell the audience to shut up can hardly hear @MichaelBuble”.
The Canadian singer had showed off his beloved vocals during the start of the show amid the release of his latest album – Higher, which features a collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney.
A fourth agreed: “Screaming audience drowning out Bublé. Sounds bloody awful!”
A fifth said: “The audience are so loud”
A sixth added: “Christ’s sake, the audience is TOO LOUD!!!!!!”
However, others disagreed with the complaints and insisted they loved the lively audience.
One said: “Noo I love the sound of them cheering makes me happy”
The show returned after a week off as it had been pulled from the TV schedule last week.
