Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter has unveiled the hardest part of her Dancing On Ice stint, saying it was so difficult juggling “20 jobs”.
The soap star went on the ITV skating competition back in 2012 and came second on her series.
Speaking at the W Channel Spring Launch, to celebrate the Channel moving onto Freeview (Channel 25) and Freesat (Channel 156) from Monday March 28, Jorgie shared her thoughts with the Daily Star.
When sharing the toughest part of the time on the programme, she said: “It was just doing 20 jobs at once think I was doing Hollyoaks, Dancing On Ice, Hollyoaks Later, and then the tour but I did love it I didn’t want to stop.”
She also shared that she had nabbed some of her glitzy TV outfits from the show, however, said she doesn’t think her fiance Oliver Piotrowski would fancy seeing her dressed up in them.
Jorgie and Oliver got engaged last year and are currently planning their lavish wedding ceremony.
She added: “I can’t say much because I’m really bad at it, I’m the worst planner ever, I’ve been phoning venues and stuff and just asking around. It is so expensive!
“But it is going to be next year.”
Talking about her dream bridal gown, she continued: “I’ve got a vision of at least two, at the engagement party I had an outfit change, so I will for this too.
“Although I haven’t got my ring on me at the moment, because it’s got to be resized because it’s just flying off at the moment.
“Luckily, I haven’t lost it yet but I do have to take it off at work and everyone at work are always like ‘I’m not looking after it!'”
Speaking about her role as Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, she also said: “I plan on staying on Hollyoaks for a long-time! Possibly forever…”
Theresa is also linked to Bobby McQueen (played by Jakob Chialton), who is currently causing a massive stir on the show, however, Jorgie says she “enjoys him so much”.
She said: “I enjoy him so much, there was a scene where he throws a chair at me, but it was so fun to shoot because he’s so little and you just think he’s got a little demon in him, which is just brilliant.”
Dancing on Ice final airs Sunday, March 27 on ITV and ITVHub at 7pm
