Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran’s relationship is thought to be “on the rocks” just months after the pair moved in together, according to sources.
The 25-year-old and her 23-year-old boyfriend first fell for each other during the seventh series of the popular ITV dating show Love Island.
During the show, the couple’s love story got off to a difficult start but soon went from strength to strength after they left the sun-drenched villa and moved in together last November.
But in recent months, it appears as though the duo are struggling to make things work in the real world after an insider close to the pair told The Sun how they have struggled to make time for each other.
They told the publication: “Chloe and Toby really love each other but their relationship has come under some strain in recent weeks.
“They are both really bust with work, so they haven’t seen as much of each other, and there is the added pressure of transferring a reality TV romance into everyday life. It’s not easy.”
Since the show finished, the pair have been flooded with work opportunities with Chloe going on to become the first female brand ambassador for JD Sports, while Toby secured a role as brand ambassador for Boohoo MAN.
The blonde bombshell is also believed to have signed up to be a reserve contestant on the upcoming ITV reality show, The Games, and has been working hard to get into shape for the show should she take part.
Despite their extremely busy work schedules, the couple are thought to be determined to make their romance work and are still “talking regularly.”
The source added: “They are still talking regularly and hoping to work things out. It’s encouraging that they are communicating and who knows, perhaps taking a bit of time apart will make them stronger in the end?
“Only time will tell, but neither of them wants to admit defeat. They don’t want people to see their romance as another reality TV casualty, because they’ve always been the real deal as a couple.”
The Daily Star has reached out to Chloe and Toby’s representatives for a comment.
Eagle-eyed viewers have been quick to notice that the pair have been increasingly absent from their social media accounts recently.
The last photo the blonde bombshell shared of the pair was to mark Toby’s 23rd birthday on March 9, whereas the TV hunk hasn’t shared a snap of the duo since early February.
