EastEnders viewers were left scratching their heads after Tina’s daughter Zsa Zsa was a no-show at her funeral following her tragic murder.

Zsa Zsa, played by actress Emer Kenny, was last seen moving to France after dumping cheating Leon, but confused fans were left annoyed and confused after the star was a no-show at the funeral on last night’s episode.

One fan blasted on Twitter: “An actual joke that Zsa Zsa isn’t back tonight. You’re telling me she’s missing her own mum’s funeral? #EastEnders.”

A second agreed: “You’d think Zsa Zsa would be at Tina’s funeral, you know she is her daughter after all.”

While a third added: “It really annoys me when they don’t mention why close family members aren’t attending the funeral, Zsa Zsa’s absence is very odd #EastEnders.”

As the star was noticeably absent from the landmark scenes, fans were left wondering where actress Emer Kenny is today after a long hiatus from the soap.

Emer was selected as the youngest ever writer for the BBC Writers Academy where she trained to write for EastEnders, Casualty, Holby City, and Doctors.

She has since gone on to work as a scriptwriter on Irish soap Red Rock and wrote and co-starred in the ITV crime drama Karen Pirie, adapted from the novels of Val McDermid.

Not hanging up her acting hat, the star appeared as Danielle Reeves in the BBC Three dramedy Pramface and played the role of Rachel in the first series of BBC Three’s sitcom Badults.

Keeping her trove of fans updated on her life on Instagram, the stunning star often shared gorgeous snaps of her glamorous outings to her more than 27k followers.

“Went to the Comedy Awards. Looked quite Irish. Someone mistook me for Aisling Bea,” the star gushed, posting a stunning pic in a skintight sparkly green frock.

Emer also delighted fans with a cheeky snap which showed her planting a kiss on husband, television presenter Rick Edwards.

Another post saw the star showing off her glamorous makeup clad in a bright pink tailored suit with a pair of sky-high snakeskin heels.

“Does anyone want me to step on them?” she captioned the post.

Emer has not announced any plans to return to EastEnders but recently promoted her new writing gig on a new eight-part drama series on Netflix.
