Bianca Del Rio has revealed that she is not a fan of Madonna who has been oversharing on her Instagram in recent months.
The queen of drag who is preparing to bring her Unsanitized Tour to venues across the UK explained that while Madge may be the queen of pop, her social media isn’t very regal.
Madge, 63, has been teasing her fans with an array of risqué snaps in recent months, showcasing every inch of her body in a variety of poses.
Most recently, the Like A Virgin singer stripped to a pair of suspenders as she teased a new project for her legion of fans.
This, however, did not go down well with Bianca who found fame on Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, she said: “Madonna had many number one records but look at her, she’s a mess, look at her Instagram..”
However, fans have praised Madonna, with one saying: “Beautiful as ever, super hot.”
“You’re stunning,” gushed another.
Before a third added: “You look amazing.”
Reflecting on her own success, Bianca said: “You’re like, ‘what are we comparing?’ it’s just like, am I enjoying it? Yes, am I grateful? Yes, am I working? Yes.
“I could have said that at any point in my life, the stakes are different now obviously because you’re dealing with bigger things and it’s a little more out there in the public eye.
“I don’t lose myself in the madness of it, you just really can’t.”
Over the course of her career, Bianca has often been compared to the late Joan Rivers, much to her delight, explaining: “I’m highly influenced by Ms Rivers and I loved her, I loved everything that she did.
“She was one of the few people besides Lady Bunny who made me p*ss myself laughing, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to do In Bed With Joan and living in New York I met her on many occasions.
“I ran into her at events and she was always so gracious and kind, it wasn’t like we were hanging out and drinking every day but she was always very kind.”
Bianca went on to add: “She had amazing people skills and that was something that I took away from that and I realised that she always took a photo with everybody.
“She was always approachable, someone on her level didn’t have to be but when you’re out and about in New York, at the opening of a musical, she was always kind and always generous off stage and what she did on stage was magic.
“I was a huge fan of hers and highly influenced by her, I’ve often wondered, is what would it be like if she was still here with us?
“I’d love to hear what she had to say about Covid, I would love to hear what she had to say about Trump – it would be quite fascinating to have her here and it’s sad that we don’t have that voice here.”
