Reality star and business mogul Kylie Jenner has been accused of selling used clothes with a strange odour to her fans.
The 24-year-old, who is known as a fashion icon amongst her followers was recently slammed for reselling her old clothes at high prices on her family’s shared site, Kardashian Kloset.
But now a YouTuber named Blair Walnuts claims Kylie is sending out musty smelling items to her customers too.
Sharing a video on her Youtube page, Blair purchased over “$500” worth of outfits to provide fans insight into the items she loved and the ones she didn’t think much of.
But as she ripped into the bag the clothes came in, the YouTuber said there was a rather unusual smell.
Talking to her fans on the video while sniffing the clothes, she said: “There’s kind of a smell to it. It’s like an old musty smell.
“A little bit like an estate sale would smell like but a light smell of that. Not like a significant smell.”
She added: “It smells like someone’s hands.”
Blair then went on to try the clothes while sharing her thoughts on some of the items.
While posing in one of the outfits, the content creator added: “This is not what I was expecting.”
Seeing her try-on haul, fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts too.
One person wrote: “For the price you’d expect the packaging to be a bit more decent…”
While another added: “For the price everything should be made perfect.”
The news comes after Kylie listed her $3.7K Louis Vuitton bag online earlier this month.
Sharing the news with fans she said: “Just added new items to my online closet” while sharing a link to Kardashian Kloset.
The star has also listed a variety of other expensive handbags and luggage pieces, including a rare Louis Vuitton piece of luggage for an eye-watering $3, 795 (£2,842).
However, the Kardashian family have received criticism from fans for selling their used goods.
Taking to the comment section on the Kardashian Kloset Instagram page, one social media user wrote: “Y’all have so much money. Why not donate these items? Or the proceeds to a good cause?”
While another said: “Why is everything so expensive on here? Don’t they get half the things for free? As PR?”
Daily Star has contacted Kylie’s representatives for comment.
