Gemma Collins’ fiancé Rami Hawash has been seen sporting a large eye patch while on a night out with friends after it was revealed he suffered a “very serious accident”.
The 48-year-old put on a brave face as he enjoyed a swanky seafood dinner in Essex with a large group of pals to celebrate a friend’s birthday.
On Friday (April 8), TOWIE star Gemma, 41, took to her Instagram to share a photo of herself cuddling an injured Rami, who was wearing an eye patch and had a cut on his nose.
Sharing details of the accident, the reality star said she drove through the night from Glasgow to London to be by his side.
Gemma also informed fans that husband-to-be Rami, who runs a mechanical repair company in Romford, was in need of an operation after injuring himself while at work.
She wrote: “Glasgow to London No SLEEP. A break down in the car. but I made it back to you. Our first week apart since dating …. I missed you.
“Also guys just before I left for my tour Rami had a very serious accident on his eye and nose at work he needs an operation it’s been a really weird week leading up to my tour!!!”
She added: “Also my mum drove into a ceramic plant pot display at the local garden center!!! If you don’t laugh you would certainly cry!!!
“We must always remain positive. Poor Rami as soon as his operation is done I will be able to relax properly then, oops I forgot to mention I had a wisdom tooth removed and stitches.”
After updating her 2.2million followers on Instagram, many of her supporters rushed to the comment section to wish Gemma, Rami and her mum well.
One person said: “Hope Rami and your mum is ok hun x sending you lots of love.”
Another penned: “Bless Rami and your Mum when it rains it pours doesn’t it.”
While a third shared: “Beautiful couple, get well soon Rami… Glad your mum is now well enough to drive and hit said plant pot. Always gotta find the positive out of the negative.”
Gemma and Rami first started dating in 2011 and got engaged 10 years ago. But at the time Gemma said she “wasn’t ready” for marriage.
After going their separate ways, in December 2021 Gemma and Rami decided to give things another go and got engaged again.
