Love Island star Chloe Crowhurst has announced she has given birth to a baby girl, two weeks after her due date.
The 27-year-old first time mum gave birth on Friday, April 8 – two whole weeks after she was originally due.
She welcomed her baby with photographer boyfriend David Houghton.
Speaking to OK! Magazine about her new bundle of joy, Chloe admitted she is “totally in love” with her daughter.
She said she is “looking forward to her new chapter as a family of three”.
It comes after she posted an update to Instagram at the end of March, informing her followers she was still pregnant.
Chloe wrote: “Yes, I’m still pregnant.
“40+5 and no signs of baby girl.
“Being overdue is not fun, I’m a hormonal wreck and want to cry at everything, I am getting new stretch marks every day, and it’s impossible to make plans as you never know what might happen.
“But looking forward to a life time of love with my little best friend…”
Chloe originally wanted to keep her pregnancy news quiet after suffering three miscarriages in the past, explaining: “With my pregnancy, I didn’t announce it for quite a long time – just because I’ve had very bad experiences in the past with pregnancies and stuff like that.
“I’ve had three miscarriages before, so I was under quite specialist care at first. It wasn’t something I wanted to advertise and cause stress upon.”
Speaking on FUBAR Radio, Chloe added that she keeps her relationship with David on the down-low because of bad experiences in the past.
She said: “I’ve had relationships on social media in the past and let’s put it this way, it’s not good. What benefit do you get from it? You don’t.
“A previous relationship I had before, I put that on social media. The same day I put it on social media, the messages were flooding through to my boyfriend at the time and there was all these follower requests and stuff and I just think some people don’t have any respect.”
Chloe, who appeared on series three of ITV reality show Love Island, continued: “And people make up stories like ‘Chloe’s done this, or she’s done that’, and to be honest with you, I’m too old for that drama.
“I’m so chill, I’m happy, and that’s all that matters.”
