Charlotte Crosby announces she's pregnant and expecting first child with Jake Ankers

Charlotte Crosby has confirmed she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Jake Ankers.

She excitedly announced the news via her Instagram page uploading a touching video as the couple celebrated their happy news.

In the clip, Charlotte, 31, revealed her positive pregnancy test laying on the side before showing herself holding it as she and Jake cuddled in the mirror of the bathroom dressed in matching robes.

The adorable footage also reveals the couple’s first baby scan as Charlottle is heard gushing: “Awh it has a tiny little heartbeat.”

Charlotte is also seen revealing the news to her mum Letitia and dad Gary as her emotional mum hugged her and the pair cried while embracing.

Her mum then admits feeling that her daughter has finally found the right man in boyfriend Jake as she says: “You know when you know don’t you Gary?”

Charlotte interjected: “When you know what?”

Leticia then continued: “That it’s the right person and your happy. I know when we were away this weekend we were talking about it’s just so nice that she’s settled and she’s happy and we know this is probably going to be the right one.”

Her dad then agreed: “I’ve never known her so happy Jake.”

Posting the compilation of footage Charlotte wrote: “A moment I wasn’t sure would ever be mine is here, it’s mine (and Jakes) and I couldn’t be happier to be sharing it with you all… I’m having a baby.”

Charlotte and Jake began dating last year but he has chosen to remain relatively private despite his girlfriend’s fame.

In an extended video posted to her YouTube channel Charlotte is seen introducing her mum and dad to Jake’s mum and Dad for the first time as the two families celebrate Mother’s Day together.

Charlotte is also seen addressing her fans as she relaxes in a pool in Abu Dhabi and explains why she wanted to share the video footage with them and how she can’t wait to tell her Geordie Shore co-stars Holly Hagan and Sophie Kasaei.

She said: “I just really wanted to capture the whole build-up to like this huge moment. I wanted to give you an update as to where I’m at this very second.

“Right now it’s officially four days until I tell Holly and Sophie. I can’t tell you how hard it has been keeping this from two people who know us better than anyone. Especially Sophie because I’m with her all the time. There’s been a couple of times she’s been guessing.

“She’s asked us a couple of times, ‘you haven’t been put in a while are you pregnant?’ And I’m like no, just haven’t felt like it.”

Charlotte then admits that she feels dishonest keeping the secret. She said: “You do feel a sense of huge secrecy you feel like you’re almost lying and I’m such an honest person I can’t stand all these secrets. “

Elsewhere in the upload, Charlotte is seen getting excited during a second scan as she exclaims: “Oh look it looked right at us there didn’t it, did you see that Jake?”

Charlotte is then joined by her mum as she rides in the passenger seat of her car to sign off to fans and admit she feels nervous about announcing the news.

She admitted: “What a whirlwind this has been and I am officially signing out with a new Nana in the car. Tonight is the night that I post this video. We’ve just told me Nana. She was so happy. I’ve never seen her that happy I can’t stop smiling.”

She finished: “Nobody knows. I don’t even know what the reaction is going to be. I’m nervous. I hope everyone is nice. This is the start of a whole new realm of videos. I’ve got so much to look forward to.”
