Alan Carr split from husband Paul Drayton in January 2022 and it appears that he seems to be over it as he let his hair down.
The former Chatty Man host enjoyed a night in London’s Soho with pals including Holby City actor David Ames before they struggled to find a way home.
Alan, 45, was in high spirits as the group walked through the streets of the capital with smiles on their faces in the late hours of Tuesday (April 12).
Wearing a mustard coloured floral shirt, paired with a pink denim jacket and grey jeans, the star was barely able to stand and was held up by his mystery pal.
The group of friends tried to get a taxi for around 20 minutes, having been refused on several attempts due to how drunk they were.
As they struggled to find a mode of transport, Alan and a mystery man were seen walking hand in hand as they smiled at one another.
Alan recently made a dig about his divorce while appearing on Joe Wicks’ Life’s A Beach podcast, telling the Body Coach: “I have just gone through a divorce so I told the trainer I want a revenge body. But I think he thought I said I wanted a blancmange body.”
It comes after it was reported that Alan and Rylan Clark had been helping one another get over their splits, with Rylan also splitting from his husband Dan Neal last year.
The presenter told The Sun: “Alan and I know each other very well, we’ve both discussed what we’ve been going through as it’s a similar situation, it’s actually quite nice to have a chat with someone who knows what it’s like.
“I can’t wait to take Alan on a night out to wingman him, I think he’d like to get buff too – he was feeling up my new muscles, left right and centre.”
Alan and Paul announced their split earlier this year, confirming that they had made the hard decision to part ways, a decision which they say was reached “amicably.”
In a statement released to PA news agency, a spokesperson said: “After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
“They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways.
“We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time.”
The former couple had been married for three years but had been an item for 13 years, with pal Adele marrying them during a lavish ceremony at her home in Los Angeles.
Speaking about his nuptials on The One Show, he said: We’ve known her for ages, and when we told her we were getting married she said, ‘Can I please plan the whole day for you?’
“She did it all at her house. So, we got in there, and there is a grand piano with a man playing Ordinary People.”
