Emmerdale fans have plenty to look forward to next week as Emmerdale spoilers let loose on some sensational storylines.
Newcomer Suzy Merton has caused quite a stir since she appeared in the village and seems to have taken a liking to an impressionable Vanessa Woodfield.
But things take an unexpected turn when Leyla Cavannagh recognises her in the pub. Will Suzy’s real identity be discovered?
Elsewhere, Rhona Goskirk is trying her best to manage family life since Marlon Dingle landed in hospital following his stroke.
But the veterinary surgeon is heartbroken by her mother’s latest suggestion.
Also, Al Chapman and Priya Sharma end up getting rather close next week and although they both agree it shouldn’t have taken place, the news of their kiss ends up reaching Cain Dingle.
But what will Kerry Wyatt do when she finds out?
Suzy’s real identity shock
Vanessa happily accepts an invitation to dinner from her new potential lover Suzy but her world is thrown into chaos when she spills wine over her phone.
With her son Jonny now sick she has no way of calling Suzy to tell her that she may need to cancel.
The following day, Vanessa wonders what she can do to make it up to Suzy for her no-show the evening before and the pair agree to meet up again.
Later on, Vanessa is seen dressing up to impress as she gets ready for a wine tasting session at David Metcalfe’s Shop.
The date with Suzy goes well and they soon move on to the Woolpack for another drink.
But as the pair settle into their evening, Leyla Cavanagh is rattled to see Suzy and Vanessa together and Vanessa’s curious how the pair know each other.
Trying to cover up something that may be more sinister, Suzy explains it’s through work but Leyla’s clearly shaken and Suzy promises to keep her secrets.

Rhona’s heartache

Paddy Dingle decides to set up an Easter egg hunt which Marlon can watch easily via video which Rhona is clearly grateful for.
But by the next day, Rhona’s surprised by how much yesterday’s activity has taken out of Marlon and begins to hope his exhaustion won’t impact his consultancy later on.
Troubled by the recent events, Rhona’s mum Mary confides in Faith over the stress her daughter may be under, worrying about how she will cope as a full-time carer for Marlon.
Despite everyone’s worries back at the village, the consultant reassures a gutted Marlon and tells him she’s pleased with his progress and he’s in the best place possible. But Rhona later presses the consultant for a timeline on his recovery and when he can come home.
When Rhona arrives back at the village she lashes out when she sees Mary with Faith in the pub.
Following her outburst, Mary worries Marlon’s move home will only increase Rhona’s overtiredness and urges her to consider the impact on herself and the kids.
But when Mary suggests separation, Rhona is horrified and throws her mother out.
Al’s revenge

Barmaid Chas warns Belle against Al because she’s worried he’s got ulterior motives.
But when she begins to share her doubts about Al and Belle to Kerry she starts to wonder if there is something more going on between the pair.
The following day, as Al and Belle enthusiastically go over their business plans, Al notices Priya’s upset.
When he questions her, Priya begins to open up about her body confidence issues following her horrific burns which leads to a charged moment where they both lean in for a kiss.
Later on, Kerry notices Al constantly checking his phone and her suspicions begin to rise.
Meanwhile, Al and Priya decide to keep their brief encounter to themselves as they both agree it should never have happened. But Cain overhears their conversation and has other ideas.
Not long after, a suspicious Kerry is seen digging for dirt on Al and Belle which later leads her to confront the wrong pair as they are conducting a meeting with a wellness influencer regarding their business.
Back at the Woolpack, Cain is nursing a pint when Kerry arrives and he deliberately lets slip about Al and Priya’s rekindled relationship.
Angered with what she just heard, Kerry throws a pint over Al during his resurrected business meeting.
After seeing the spectacle right in front of her, Carrie the client backs out of the business deal, leaving Belle devastated.
Seeing a smug Cain watching from the bar, Al quickly realises who leaked his secret.
Later, while on Main Street, the two men draw battle lines and it looks like it’s war and upset Kerry demands Al collects his stuff and leave.
