Sally Dynevor's Corrie father-in-law, famous lookalike kids and Emmerdale husband

Coronation Street star, Sally Dynevor, 58, who plays Sally Metcalfe, has recently showed off her beautiful family, including three children who all share a strong likeness.

She poses with eldest daughter and Bridgerton starlet Phoebe, 26, middle child son Sam 25 and the youngest of the clan, Harriet who is 18 years old.

Sally sometimes rare pics of her children in family holiday photos, and as Phoebe turns 27, fans can’t believe how similar the family all look to each other.

The Dancing on Ice contestant shares her three children with husband and script writer Tim Dynevor, 60 who has written more than 300 episodes of Emmerdale.

Tim and Sally wed in 1995, in Trafford, where they raised their children and still live today.

Sally often shares her pride in her three children, with the eldest Phoebe who was awarded a critical acclaim for starred as Daphne Bridgerton in the steamy Netflix period drama Bridgerton which has been viewed by 82 million people.

In November 2021, Phoebe won the Breakthrough Talent Award at the Harper’s Bazaar gala.

She has since become a household name, and has racked up an incredible 3.2 million followers on Instagram alone.

The Corrie star’s mini-me daughter is currently filming for a new role in the upcoming movie, Bank of Dave, and she was spotted exiting a people carrier with a philosophy book in hand.

Her son Sam graduated from Nottingham University in 2019, and youngest Harriet turned 18 last year.

Working with TV clearly runs in then family, as Tim’s dad is former Coronation Street director Gerard Dynevor.

He directed 14 episodes of Coronation Street between January 1963 and September 1964.

Not only that, Sally’s on-screen family and real family are very close in real life as Harriet often spends time with Sally’s soap daughters Brooke Vincent who plays Sophie and Helen Flanagan who plays Rosie Webster.

They were invited to celebrate Brooke’s baby shower when she welcomed her baby boy into the world, just before the lockdown in February 2020.

Recently, she also shared an adorable image of her son Sam as a child in a red hat and holiday shirt. She wrote: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful son. I’m so proud of you. You’ll always be my baby boy.”

Corrie icon Sally is hoping her character will “grow old with fun” after being scripted a breast cancer storyline which she said she was “Important to raise awareness” of and she couldn’t wait to see what the next 10 years have in store.

In 2009, she was actually diagnosed with breast cancer, and eventually made a full recovery.

In 2019, she embarked on an incredible journey to climb to the Mount Everest base camp for the charity Prevent Breast Cancer. The charity funds ground-breaking research to help prevent breast cancer for future generations of women.

She raised an amazing £100,000 for her chosen charity, 10 years after she was originally diagnosed. She climbed more than 5,300 metres as she climbed to the base of the highest mountain in the world which is located in Nepal.

The 18 day trek was self-funded by Sally, and all the proceedings were given to Prevent Breast Cancer.

She believes she may not he here today if it wasn’t for her character’s diagnosis in 2009. The storyline encouraged her to check whilst on holiday, when she found a lump.

The lump turned out to be cancerous, and she received treatment straight away.
