Sex scenes are commonplace in many movies and TV shows but there are some stars who refuse to strip off for the camera.
There are some starts who add a clause in their contract stipulating they don’t have to go starkers in scenes.
Some insist they can’t get their kit off for personal reasons, others say they are not confident flaunting their bodies because they don’t want their kids to see their kids to see them in the buff.
Daily Star Online takes a look a some of the stars who have ruled out getting their kit off for the camera.
Megan Fox
Megan Fox is regarded as a sex symbol and has a legion of fans – but she refuses to take her clothes off for the camera – overs fear it will affect her young sons Noah, Bodhi and Journey.
“There are some good projects I’ve read that are with talented people, talented directors, but the things the women are required to do in the movie are things I can’t have my sons ever know or see.
She told The Mirror: “There are some good projects I’ve read that are with talented people, talented directors, but the things the women are required to do in the movie are things I can’t have my sons ever know or see.
“I was offered a project that’s coming out on HBO that centres around the life of a prostitute and it has very graphic sex scenes – things you would see in a pornographic film – and those are things that are degrading to the woman who’s playing the character.” nk
Hilary Duff
Disney Channel star Hillary Duff insists she will not take movie parts that require nudity to boost her film career. She says,
She told The Telegraph in 2006: “If I do a movie I want to be myself. I don’t want to take my top off or anything. In the States, it seems it’s the trend to turn 18 or 19 and then take your shirt off and do something crazy, and I don’t know what comes after that.”
While she may never have peeled off everything on screen Hilary flashed her breast in a new episode of the TV show Younger in 2017.
The actress, who played Kelsey Peters in the comedy-drama, slept with a stranger in the scene and one of her assets slipped out of her top.
Sarah Michelle Geller
Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress appeared in many racy scenes during the series which ran in the late 90s and early noughties but never bared all.
And she has also appeared in several steamy movies including 1999’s Cruel Intentions where she has kept her modesty protected.
The actress has reportedly been offered huge sums of cash for roles but has turned them all down because she has to strip off.
A rep for the actress told Page6: “Sarah doesn’t do nudity, period. It has never been her thing.”
But Michelle Gellar has never directly addressed her no-nudity stance to explain why she wants to keep her clothes on in front of the camera.
Sarah Jessica Parker
Despite being the star of Sex and the City, which often describes the sexual encounters of pals living in New York, Sarah has always kept her clothes on in front of the camera.
Sarah, who is the only actress from “Sex and The City” who did not appear nude, insists she’ll never get her kit off for a role.
She told The Hollywood Reporter that has a no-nudity clause in all her contacts.
Sarah said: “I don’t have any judgment about anyone who chooses to do it,” she told THR. “I think it’s fantastic that people feel comfortable doing it. It’s not some kind of principled position or religious or ideological on my part.”
Julia Roberts
Pretty Woman actress Julia Roberts is adamant she won’t ever do a nude scene and has criticise stars who decide to take off their clothes on screen, particularly those who have children.
In 2012, the actress, told the Daily Mail: “You know it’s not really what I do, so if you are going ask me to do it, you have to expect it to be toned down. You know, as a mum of three, I feel like that.”
The original script for the movie Duplicity involved a raunchy sex scene, until Roberts insisted it be toned down.
Roberts explained her decision in an interview: “You know it’s not really what I do, so if you are going ask me to do it, you have to expect it to be toned down. You know, as a [mother] of three, I feel like that.”
