Piers Morgan got embroiled in a bitter row with former US president Donald Trump in an explosive trailer for the broadcaster’s new TalkTV show.
The upcoming interview turned so heated that Trump decided to cut the TV chat short and storm out before it was due to finish.
Piers is set to launch his new TalkTV show Uncensored on April 25 – over a year after he quit Good Morning Britain in sensational fashion.
And he just revealed his first guest is none other than the former 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Trump served in the White House from 2017 until 2021 when he lost in the election to current President, Joe Biden.
Piers took to Twitter to announce the interview to his 7.9million followers on Wednesday (April 20).
He posted a 30-second trailer for the interview which labelled the chat: “the most explosive interview of the year”.
Highlights from the clip showed Piers and Trump arguing over topics like the 2021 US presidential election.
One highlight showed Trump declaring: “I’m a very honest man. More honest than you, actually.”
A gobsmacked Piers replied: “Really?”, to which Trump confirms: “Yeah.”
Later, Piers told Trump: “It was a free and fair election. You lost.”
However, the former president fired back: “Only a fool would think that.”
Piers replied: “You think I’m a fool?”, and Trump said: “I do now, yeah.”
Things got so heated that the pair end up interrupting each-other, and eventually it escalates so much that Trump decides he’s had enough.
Trump proceeded to cut off the interview and storm off before the chat was over, seemingly slamming Piers as “very dishonest”.
He said: “Let’s finish up the interview,” before ordering the team to “turn the camera off” as he gets up from his seat.
The upcoming interview will air on TalkTV next Monday (April 25), when the programme launches for the first time.
Piers has been plugging his brutally-honest TV news show on social media constantly in the lead up to its big launch, which is less than a week away.
He’s also shared some behind-the-scenes footage of the show’s new 360 degree studio – which has never been seen on British TV news.
He showed off the new TalkTV set on social media, where he wrote: “Piers Morgan’s new studio creates a multi-angle 360-degree set and a stand-out LED archway, never before seen on British TV news.
“TalkTV launches on 25 April! 7pm The News Desk, 8pm Piers Morgan Uncensored, 9pm The Talk.
Piers has said he aims to “cancel the cancel culture” with his new primetime programme.
He said: “So I’m delighted to now be returning to live television with a new prime-time show whose main purpose will be to cancel the cancel culture which has infected societies around the world.
“I want it to be a platform for lively vigorous debate, the newsmaking interviews and that increasingly taboo three-letter word fun. I also want it to annoy all the right people. I’m Piers Morgan uncensored.
