Victoria Beckham's son Cruz's voice is 'better than his mum's' as he signs deal

Cruz Beckham, son of football sensation David Beckham and Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham, has his sights set on dominating the airwaves as he follows in his mother’s footsteps.

The 17-year-old has freshly signed a deal with the management team that turned pop star Dua Lipa into an overnight sensation.

The Sun has revealed that the teenager is signed with Tap Music, the same team who have also managed Ellie Goulding, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Lana Del Rey.

Hopefully, Cruz can achieve the same height of fame as his mother did with the Spice Girls in the 90s and 2000s as the band sold more than 100 million records, which solidified their place as the best selling girl group in the world.

The team reportedly have their sights set on finding Cruz a record label that suits him and a source has confirmed their faith in the young star.

They said: “The fact that such a well established and successful management company has taken on Cruz proves there is faith that he is the real deal.”

They went on to say that the company are “impressed and hopeful” after hearing his career plans and how “hard he is working to develop his songs”.

The source then claimed that “everything is falling into place with his career” but the youngster is “not in a rush to put out music yet”.

They then confirmed that “he is working with Tap” to ensure that there is “a plan in place” which is set to “give him the best possible launch as a solo singer”.

While his “parent’s fame means that there are big expectations” and that he “has a lot to prove,” the source said that the “most important thing” is that everyone who has heard his singing “insists his voice is better than his mum’s”.

Back in February, Cruz gave a rare interview and touched upon his dream of singing professionally.

He admitted that he has been working with US producer Poo Bear, who helped produce Usher’s iconic album Confessions and Justin Bieber’s legendary catalogue Purpose.

With the help of this seasoned professional, Cruz hopes to break into the music scene and revealed that he has learned to play the guitar, piano and drums.

Despite his impressive repertoire, he admitted that he is focussing on “just making the music he loves”.
