Coronation Street star Kate Ford has praised her “beautiful” onscreen daughter in a sweet Instagram message.
The Tracy Barlow actress, 45, has been a staple of the ITV soap for 20 years, having joined the cast in 2002.
Tracey’s onscreen daughter Amy Barlow is played by Elle Mulvaney, who recently celebrated her fellow Corrie star Harriet Bibby’s birthday at VK Revolution in Manchester.
Sharing photos from the night out to Instagram on Sunday, Elle posted two stunning pictures of herself looking glammed up for the evening.
The 19-year-old actress looked glowing in a short-sleeved polka dot jumpsuit and white trainers.

Wearing her shoulder length hair in a loose style, Elle posed on a swing inside the venue.
She completed her look with a silver crescent moon necklace.
In a second picture, the soap star gave fans a closer look at her dark and glittery eye make-up as she posed coyly for a selfie.
With fans quick to praise the “stunning” and “pretty” star, also on hand to dole out compliments was Elle’s onscreen mother Kate.

Alluding to the pair’s onscreen relationship, Kate wrote in a comment beneath the post: “My daughter is so beautiful.”
Elle swiftly replied to Kate’s sweet message with a string of love heart emojis.
Her latest Instagram post follows Elle recently wowing fans with a stunning hair transformation.
Last month, the actress floored fans by shedding her signature straight long brunette tresses for a lighter and shorter style, adding auburn highlights and framing strands around her face.

Elle joined Coronation Street as Amy Barlow in 2015.
Since then, she has been involved in a number of important plots including an underage pregnancy and abortion storyline, as well as a recent drug-spiking scare.
