Hollyoaks death tragedy as The Undertaker's identity revealed amid sinister murder twist

Hollyoaks viewers have finally been introduced to The Undertaker after weeks of suspense.

EastEnders actress Glynis Barber made her debut as Norma aka The Undertaker in dramatic scenes during the latest visit to the village.

The dangerous crime boss has made her presence felt with village bad boy Ethan Williams (Matthew James-Bailey) scared stiff of her.

Even Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) told Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) that she’s actually “scared” of what might happen at The Undertaker’s hands.

The Undertaker has recently found out that Sienna and Ste have been stealing money from Ethan and she’s intent on making them pay.

She sent Ethan, Sienna and Ste each an urn engraved with their name and date of death – May 2 2022.

As the sinister plot continued, fans of the Channel 4 soap rushed to Twitter as they recognised television star Glynis from the rival BBC One soap.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “I’m so happy to see Glynis Barber back in soapland after her iconic role as Glenda Mitchell in Eastenders I loved her xx”

Another added: “OMG It’s Ronnie and Roxys mam off EastEnders.”

A third person posted: “Glynis Barber is a fantastic actress and perfect casting.”

While a fourth social media user said: “I’m already obsessed with The Undertaker.”

In a bid to hide their stolen funds, Sienna sought help from Ethan’s accountant, Asher, earlier in the week.

Asher popped over for an unnerving visit in recent scenes as he had a bone to pick with Sienna and Ste, who have just endured a night of threats from Ethan.

The trio later worked together on a tight deadline, keen to avoid consequences from The Undertaker.

However, the new villain wasn’t quite as far away as they thought and things escalated quite dramatically during Friday’s (April 29) first-look episode as Ethan tried to leave the village for good.

He penned a letter to his brother Dave Chen-Williams (Dominic Power), describing how he’s simply not being able to escape what’s coming.

Before Ethan got the chance to flee Hollyoaks, The Undertaker rocked up in the village and made beeline for Ethan, Ste and Sienna.

She demanded that they filled her in on just who has been stealing her money.

The Undertaker issued the trio with a deadly ultimatum and showed she means business by shooting her lover Asher dead.

She later instructed that cleaners Sienna and Ste cleaned up the murder scene.

Will she allow Ste, Sienna and Ethan to live or will she kill again to prove who’s boss?
