ER actress Jossara Jinao has sadly died aged 48 following her battle with cancer, her husband has confirmed.
Matt Mogado announced his wife Jossara passed away on Wednesday this week (April 27) in a heartbreaking post on Facebook.
In the post, the dad revealed he was suffering a “great sorrow” after his wife lost her brave battle with cancer.
He wrote: “With great sorrow, I announce the passing of my wife, Jossara Jinaro on this date, April 27, 2022.
“Jossara bravely fought cancer and came home to be surrounded by family.
“Jossara was an amazing wife, mother, artist, and friend. She had the most beautiful, kind soul and wouldn’t take no for an answer.”
Alongside the the post was a sweet family photo which showed him and Jossara smiling with their two young children.
The husband also explained Jossara was “still fighting” in the final days before she passed, and that she “will be remembered forever”.
The widower added: “Even in her last moments, she was still fighting. She is now resting in peace and will be remembered forever.”
The dad concluded: “Myself, Liam, and Emrys will miss her so deeply, although we know she is in our hearts and guiding us every step of the way.
“A public memorial service will be held in the Bay Area. More details will come soon.”
Jossara began her acting career at the young age of 16 before she bagged roles in NBC’s hit medical drama ER and CBS’ legal drama, Judging Amy.
She later turned her talents to writing and directing before appearing in a number of well-known films, such as Devil’s Rejects.
Her other movies included Havoc with Hollywood star Anne Hathaway, Fly Boys with Stephen Baldwin, and World Trade Center with Michael Pena.
Online tributes for the star have poured in from her friends and family.
The actresses’ cousin penned: “My beautiful brave cousin. She is an inspiration in resilience , strength, and bravery.
“Sending you and the boys love and light and remembering my prima with love.”
A friend said: “Jossara was one of the first people I worked with when I got in the business.
