Fans of The Chase were left fuming after the hit ITV game show was moved to a new time slot.
Normally, viewers can expect to tune into the beloved quiz show hosted by Bradley Walsh at 5pm on weekday afternoons.
However, they were met with disappointment after the TV channel underwent a major schedule change during the Bank Holiday weekend.
It meant the channel’s hit game shows, such as The Chase and Tipping Point, were moved to much later slots in the day.
Ben Shephard’s Tipping Point was moved from 4pm to 5pm, and The Chase was pushed back from 5pm to 6.30pm.
It’s clear many fans weren’t best pleased with the line-up as many took to Twitter during The Chase on Monday (April 2).
Before the episode, one fan wrote: “Can we fast forward to #TheChase Now Please [sic].”
A second said: “Hang on…. Where’s #TheChase? Why is boring old #TippingPoint on instead?”.
A third weighed in: “It might be late, but #TheChase is starting now”.
A fourth claimed: “TV putting #TheChase on later than usual to make it look like they made an extra effort with the TV schedule because it’s a bank holiday – when in fact they’ve made no effort at all…”
Another complained as they thought the seen-before episode was boring.
They said: “Would have thought they would pick an exciting episode for a holiday !”
The scheduling shift is believed to be due to the Bank Holiday weekend, which runs from Saturday 30 April to Monday 2 May.
The broadcaster will return to its normal programme schedule after Monday, so fans can be assured their favourite game shows will be back to their respective slots.

The past episode saw Boris, Lauren, Julie and Andrew take on Irish Chaser Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis.
Only Boris made it to the Final Chase as Darragh managed to chase down all of his teammates.
However, the caravan-lover managed to get the better of the Chaser and take home a cash prize of £4,000.
Darragh admitted Boris put on a “top class” performance and that the player could have won £70,000 if he’d taken the higher offer made available to him.
