Jada Pinkett Smith says 'life is a gift' as Will visits India after Oscars outburst

Jada Pinkett Smith has said “life is a gift” in an inspirational message shared in the wake of her hubby Will’s Oscars outburst.

The actress’s Instagram post comes as Will is said to have headed to India for spiritual purposes, weeks after hitting the headlines when he stormed on stage at the Oscars and struck Chris Rock.

Jada shared a selfie alongside the uplifting post, and looked incredible in a green top and gold hoop earrings.

Perfect brows and a smoky shadow made her hazel eyes stand out and her skin glowed with natural-looking make-up.

Serving up a seriously smouldering stare, she told fans: “Smile within your heart and be reminded that life is a gift and so are you.”

The shot earned Jada plenty of love from her followers, who dropped red heart emojis to show their appreciation.

“Amen,” wrote one.

The Academy Awards incident sent shockwaves through the industry in March.

Will reacted when comedian Chris made a joke about Jada’s shaved head, quipping that he couldn’t wait for GI Jane 2.

Striding onto the stage, Will struck Chris then ranted: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth.”

The Fresh Prince star, 53, has since apologised for his actions, saying his behaviour was “unacceptable and inexcusable”.

He also explained that listening to a joke about Jada, who has opened up about dealing with alopecia, was tough for him to bear.

It has since been reported that the actor has now travelled to India.

A source told People magazine that the star is there for spiritual purposes and will be doing yoga and meditation.

Jada hasn’t said much about the scandal, but has revealed that her family is focusing on “deep healing”.

The actor is apparently in India

The actress, who has two children with Will, addressed the incident via a statement on her Red Table Talk.

“Considering all that has happened in the last few weeks, the Smith family has been focusing on deep healing,” said a message before the show.

“Some of the discoveries around our healing will be shared when the time calls.”
