EastEnders fans were left speechless after they uncovered a dark link between the growing slots available in Walford FC as Tommy Moon continues to fight for his place on the team.
During Wednesday’s instalment of the popular BBC One soap, eagle-eyed viewers spotted the perspective coach reading the latest article about the professional football club ahead of his meeting with the sporty student.
But one viewer couldn’t help but notice that the tot could be in danger if he joined the proud sports club as they took a closer look at the concerning article the coach was reading ahead of their interview.
The article detailed the latest body found in the East London area which police have linked to a “bizarre Druidic ritual of child sacrifice.”
It reported: “The body was found this morning at about 11am, after all hopes for the boy being found alive had faded. Daryl was thought to have died of multiple injuries.
“Glyndwr Police have started a murder injury, and a man found near the site at the time of the discovery is helping police with their inquiries. Police refuse to name the man who is thought to be a local.
“Two years ago the body of a teenage girl was found in the same spot. This latest tragedy has raised speculation that they may be linked to some bizarre Druidic ritual of child sacrifice. The body of the girl has never been identified.”
Fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their concerns for the aspiring footballer after reading the terrifying article in depth online.
One user penned: “The hell kind of article is that?? [two cry laughing emojis] that turned dark fast from Walford FC finding a new player to Druidism to missing children?”
Another agreed, asking: “Did Rick Kasso write that article? #EastEnders”
A third fan of the show cheekily quipped: “Sounds better than much of the current show #eastenders.”
It comes after the sportsman met up with the perspective coach at the cafe beside his mother Kat as they talked about his possible position in the club.
However the sports coach couldn’t help but notice his absence from school which the mother-son duo brushed off as thy attributed his absence to a dentist appointment.
After leaving a strong impression with the Walford FC member, everything appeared to be going smoothly for the pupil to join the team.
But it all went horribly wrong when he enjoyed a pint of beer in the pub that he learnt that Tommy stabbed his bully after he over heard Martin Fowler and Zack Hudson discussing his upcoming hearing set to tale place next week.
